"The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and attentive. The location is perfect. It has a view of the Tower, it is in walking distance to the Tube (literally around the corner) and most other central London spots. "

"What a disappointing hotel. When I booked on hotels.com it looked a rather nice property and when I got there it was a 1970s building with the matching interior that's dated. The room has damaged/ worn furniture and the bathroom was very dirty. Also the hotel stairways stank of blocked toilets . The breakfast was not as described or shown.. sausages not nice and the no hash browns and not enough cereals for children. Staff don't know how to clean and if they are investing in a refit program they need to train the staff to clean properly. "

"I was not allowed to stay in the room I had paid for because they have none of my details on their system, they said it does not matter if I have my confirmation details and I was told to leave, leaving me stranded in London for 9 hours "

"Beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Quite different from other hotels I have stayed at. Lovely rooms and spaces throughout the hotel. Staff very polite and friendly. Will definitely use again."
