Paris in Buenos Aires: Boutique 2 Bedroom Apartment in the Heart of Recoleta

It is not for nothing that Buenos Aires is known as the Paris of South America. Our apartment in this classic French style building, built circa 1935 is perfect for 2 - 4 discerning travelers looking for a unique and stylish property.

The apartment is over 70 square meters (over 600 square feet) and have an entry hall, full kitchen, modern bathroom, 2 bedrooms and business center, lots of light and open living room. The apartments are tastefully decorated in modern contemporary style: Italian designed leather sofas, king and queen sized top of the line beds, TV, DVD player and sound system, business center with internet hook-up and USA phone, fully equipped kitchen, vacuum, iron and board. The apartment will sleep four adults in king and queen beds. In addition, there is a couch which is suitable for a child or adolescent.

Great apt in excellent location

Had a lovely 4 days here, the apartment is in a beautiful old Parisian style building with old school elevator, close to the Recoleta attractions and also close to the Aeroparque, Very good attention from the host, hope to return!

A great stay in a great area

Great place. Great Host!

The place was perfect for my wife and I. Comfortable, clean and a convenient location. I had a medical emergency while visiting and host was always making sure we were ok. I would book here again, no doubt.

A Buenos Aires Must

A beautiful place to enjoy the city

A Great Stay in a Even Greater City

My family and I spent 4 wonderful days in Matthew's property. The apartment is just as the pictures show, large, clean and full of old world charm an elegance. Making the stay even better was the fact that Matthew and his assistant, Helen, were extremely hospitable and attentive to our needs. I see a return visit in the future!

Nice unit and very convenient

We stayed three nights and walked or used Uber to get around town. Recoleta Cemetery and the parks were quite close and wonderful places to visit. We also did the Yellow Bus (hop-on hop-off) tour which provided a nice introduction to the city (we especially liked Caminito in La Boca).

Lovely apartment, well located

What a lovely stay in an amazing city! This apartment is walking distance to Ricoleta Cemetary and is in a very safe, walkable neighborhood. Two comfortable bedrooms with 1 bathroom and a kitchen… but you won’t want to cook because the neighborhood restaurants are wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back again. Thanks Moi and Helen!

5 Week Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s apartment. We stayed for 5 weeks total and Matthew contacted a number of times to confirm everything was going well and to give travel tip. We had friends call in for 4 nights and they enjoyed it too. Central location in a safe neighbourhood with amenities close by. Thanks Matthew!!

Charming apartment, quiet neighborhood

Lovely apartment with old world charm perfect for our low-key group of three. Manager was super helpful in finding us a place to store our bags while we waited for our evening flight. And the air conditioning kept us cool enough to sleep despite the 95 degree heat wave!

Lovely apartment in great location

Apartment is in a beautiful older building, with an old elevator that worked perfectly! Pablo met us as scheduled and gave us good information about the building, as well as the surrounding area. The apartment was clean, with comfortable beds and was stocked with everything we needed for our 4-night stay. Safe location, walking distance to Recoleta Cemetery and other sights.

Great apartment in a wonderful classic building!

We spent four days at Matthew’s apartment and enjoyed our stay. The building is fantastic and located in a great neighborhood. We were able to walk to get a pizza, then we walked to a restaurant called Don Hilario, which was very good. Check in with Helen was great-although neither of us knew what the other was saying, we both understood. Matthew was in contact with us throughout the stay, with many helpful hints.

Matthew and Pablo are the best hosts! They picked up Bjork concert tickets for us and clued us in on a few spots of interest. The spacious home is located in the middle of Rocoleta and convenient to lots of walking distance attractions.

Short Stay in a great city

Very attractive and convenient two bedroom apartment in the Recoleta area. Our flight to Bs. As. was delayed and our host Pablo was waiting for us at 01.00 h in the morning. He explained the neighborhood, where to go to find stores, restaurants, attractions.

Do not go here, I left after my first night, had to scramble to find a new booking last minute, and it took me a month to get a refund. Neighbors dog barking all night. Water to the unit was turned off, stains on the sheets, hair in the bed. Layers of soap scum in the bathroom. I rented a 2 bedroom due to friends coming with me. The photos of the property did not match the unit I was given keys to. The unit only has one bed and a pullout couch. The owner would not refund, i had to speak to multiple managers at VRBO and send photos of the disgusting state of the property to get a refund. Property owner lied to VRBO and said he offered me another unit. I had to send screenshots of my whatsapp to prove him wrong. I wish I could do negative stars. Im just glad i arrived a week before my girfriend and family so they didnt have to deal with this property and its owner.

Perfect in every way!

A lovely apartment and as they say :location, location, location! Very walkable area, 3 grocery stores within a block, and 4 blocks to Recoleta cemetery. Clean, roomy, fully appointed kitchen and washing machine and elevator! Matt very responsive and Pablo always available and extremely helpful. We couldn’t have been happier!

Beautiful historic building

We appreciate a property with heritage charm in a less touristic area. Paulo was able to accommodate an early check in and maintained great communication to ensure our stay was comfortable. The AC was really appreciated during a record heat wave! During cooler evenings opening the windows and cheering along with neighbours as Argentina played in the World Cup was an experience we will never forget!! We highly recommend this property for walkability neighbourhood charm and safer streets.
