Supposedly a 4 star hotel, however, once I was in my room I noticed the floors where dirty and hairs were stuck to the wall around the shower which was disgusting. The room was far too hot with no way to cool it down which made it difficult to sleep and relax. Tea and coffee was provided, however there was no kettle! I was told to ring reception each time to request a cup of hot water to enjoy a tea or coffee. They clearly can’t be bothered to buy new kettles for the rooms which are missing them. After my first full day in Bucharest I arrived back to my room to find men’s hair all over the bathroom floor which I found not on my disgusting but disturbing as well, the cleaning team need some training as this is clearly acceptable to them. I showed the receptionist who was obviously disgusted as well and she requested it to be cleaned the next day. Obviously, no one checks the cleanliness or work of the cleaners before guests arrive - you arrive and then have to ask them to clean the room (you would think it would already be clean). For a four star hotel I was really disappointed and wish I’d stayed somewhere else.

A good stay
We had a great stay, the room was big with comfy beds and clean. The bathroom could have done with a shower screen or curtain as the floor got fairly wet after a shower, unless you aimed the shower head towards the wall. The shower was very nice though. Breakfast was good and served for a long time in the morning.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, specially the young Receptionist guy, who was living in the UK. He was extremely helpful helping me to find a place for my car. Really appreciate it :)

We were happy and got what we paid for. Location is convenient. Room was fairly large and comfortable. Breakfast is fine but was crowded on one morning and we couldn't get a table. Our only window was to the inner light well/courtyard. The hotel could try to prevent the living of birds in this space because the accumulation of bird droppings outside the window is kind of gross.

Everything I expected :)
2 night break, great location, quiet enough to be out of the way of the crowds in old town but close to walk. Next to several big green parks. Recently renovated and super friendly staff! Breakfast could use a little improvement but it's totally good for the price!! :)

It is a very friendly, intimate and compact little hotel, just right if you're wanting a smaller place to stay with all attendant amenities. Close to the Old Town area and walkable to the Calea Victoriei area. Close to a metro stop, trolley buses, buses, and taxis stop just outside. Breakfast choice is excellent and efficiently served. They will attempt to seek out answers to your questions! The only niggle I have is that they charge 5 euros for replenishing the tea and coffee sachets for one's room, and no UHT milk or creamer is supplied. This seems a bit steep to me and shouldn't really be charged. Otherwise I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again given the opportunity.

It was a friendly and hospitable hotel, with knowledgeable staff ready to help and provide local knowledge and information. Close to the Old Town area with a metro stop nearby and on the route of a number of trolley buses. Also walkable to the Calea Victoreie main city road. Breakfast is recommended - they provide a wide range of cooked and cold foodstuffs with very efficient service.

Hotel is pleasant. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly, however the cleaners were terible. Had to ask 3 times to get a refill for basics. The area is great, ose to Cismigiu gardens and Old town so everything in a walking distance. Its really affordable. Cons:the water pressure was poor and the tap was loose and leaking. Some of the furnishings were damaged by previous customers. There is no bar in the hotel whichbis a shame, but there are several coffee shops and bars close by.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The hotel was great, quiet, clean and with friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good. (A shower curtain would have been nice!). The location was very good and the area safe.

Hotel was very hot with poor/no air conditioning. Rooms are basic, but location is good - only a 10/15 min walk from main area. Having said that, it was incredibly noisy at night and it was difficult to get sleep. Housemaid also removed a membership card we had left in to keep a toothbrush charging whilst we were out - not a big deal but should never have been taken - if anything if it needed removed it should have been placed on the side unit. Staff were professional but did not interact much. Very poor excuse for a bar. No atmosphere (if that is what you look for in a hotel - hardly saw another resident)

The decor is conducive with the little Paris theme. The chamber maids need more attention to detail, towels missed one day, no loo roll another, tea and coffee supplies not topped up, if you are in when they arrive they are a little too eager to say it will be cleaned the next day rather than a little latter on, light bulbs where missing from 2 lamps and the paint was coming off the ceiling by the shower. Don’t get me wrong it’s ok but not 4*

The room carpets have paint marks, I was given a towel with a hole into it, I have got coffee in the room only in the first day, and when I asked for more the staff told me that I get only in the first day, even if I stayed 12 days, I had to ask them to replace the drinks what consumed from the minibar,and this happens the next day Also, I was hearing the room attendance staf talking about me in an unrespectful way. So, in my opinion, the hotel doesn't deserve the 4 stars rating at all.

The furniture was okey, the hotel is a bit small and tight, they dont have a private parking. But when it comes to the staff, they were so mean and not friendly, you might say thank you and not get a reply, nor a smile.

The hotel is in a pretty central location, by Cismigiu Park, and is relatively quiet and clean. The rooms are small and if you don't get a room facing the boulevard, there is not much light during the day. The breakfast in the morning is OK, not extraordinary but just enough to start the day decently. they are not very generous with the toilet paper, shampoo and there is no conditioner provided. The place is functional, but could certainly be better for the money though.

It was conveniently situated, quite central and next to a beautiful park. Easy 10 minute walk from the lively bars and cafe restaurants of the old town. Nicely modernised, with excellent and friendly front-desk service, it had fresh and good condition towels and bedding. I would recommend it as it was good value and the rooms were of a decent size.

I actually stayed here 3 times on the same trip. All three times were a single night with the group I was traveling with and then I extended for some additional nights at the end of the trip. 3 stays 3 different rooms. Room #1 was ok. All the rooms are oddly shaped. This room had a very large bathroom. Bedroom was ok but no place for a suitcase. There were 2 of us. We asked for a luggage rack and the staff was friendly and promptly brought one. Room 2. Much smaller. No room for luggage. We asked for a luggage rack and were told there were none but they brought us a chair that was broken and could not hold a suitcase. Got up early to catch a flight and was less than thrilled to find ants all over the bathroom. Room 3 was very small for 2 people. No place for luggage and no place for a luggage rack so we didn’t ask. Each stay was met with less service and helpfulness from the staff. Daily we had to have our room keys redone because they no longer worked. In the evening you had to wait for the desk staff to finish their smoke break before this could be done. Breakfast was ok. The coffee machine never worked correctly. The woman in charge of the breakfast room was very helpful with that and would frequently just do it for you.

This was my first time in Bucharest so didn’t know what to expect. Location close to Parliament and nice park really close. Friendly staff. Definitely not 4 stars to US standards. They have instant coffee in the room the first day then you have to pay for it ☹️

A total of 5 nights. I was traveling with a group. We checked in 3 times and I added 2 nights at the end of the last night stay. 2 single women in my room with 2 suitcases.The first room/night we asked for a luggage rack and they promptly brought one. Other suitcase was on a chair. 2nd room/night we asked for the same and were told to use the chair. We already were. They reluctantly brought another chair that was too narrow for the case and was broken.This room had ants in the bathroom. Not a fun surprise when you get up at 3 am to catch a flight. 3rd room had a chair and a separate cabinet for the fridge so we used the cabinet. The whole group consistently had issues with keys not working. Every time you came back from somewhere you had to return to the desk to have the room key redone. It was annoying. The desk staff was usually out in front of the hotel smoking so you had to wait for them to finish. The room safes are tiny, tablets are too big. We used ours once and could not get it open. After 2 calls to the desk someone finally came to help. He opened it and rudely told me while tapping his head that I needed to use my head when I used this. Wifi was slow and intermittent. Depended on where you were in the room.

I was traveling with a group. We checked into this hotel 3 separate times and had 3 separate rooms and then I had an extension 2 additional nights at the end.There were issues with the keys each time. They had to be rekeyed after one use. This was annoying. You get to your room and have to return to the desk for a rekey, usually waiting till they came in from smoking outside the front door. For the extension I asked when I booked if we could stay in the same room. Then I asked the night before and was told yes. I checked again the day of - we had a tour booked - and was told I would have to change rooms. Then they said well, they could make it work so we didn't have to change. The first room we had had no place to put a suitcase. We had one on a chair and asked for a luggage rack - we had 2 suitcases. They were very helpful this time and brought one. The second time they told us to use the chair. We were already using the chair for one suitcase.They brought us another chair - too small to put a suitcase on and it was broken. There were ants in the bathroom of this room. Staff at the desk was sometimes pleasant, sometimes not. Frequently they were outside smoking. The room safes are tiny. We only used them one time and we could not get it opened again. We had to wait for the person to come in from a smoke break to fix it. Then he used his key and very rudely told me that I needed to use my head when I set the combination while pointing to his head. Wifi was slow.

The decor is nice and lavish. I really enjoyed the corridor hung with framed mirrors, the heavy curtains in the bedroom, and the massive bronze taps. The location is great, and with a 24-hour shop nearby, very convenient. Staffing is relaxed and friendly, and I felt comfortable asking questions, and they were very pleasant in all interactions. The room was clean, the aircon worked brilliantly, the bed was comfortable, the curtains blocked all light, the wifi was great, there were a couple of free plugs for my rechargers, and the minifridge was useful. On the downside, the showerhead was inconsistent, I don't believe in shampoo/showergel as a combo thing :) , and the walls were a little thin - I could hear my neighbour snoring, the kids banging about downstairs, and the cleaners are pretty loud if you fancy a lie-in. Minor things. I will happily return there on my next trip to Bucharest.
