The Cullisia: Historic 2BR Gem with Modern Amenities

  • Welcome to The Cullisia, a restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin tucked beside a mountain creek in the Alarka community near Bryson City, NC. Originally built in 1892 as a mission and doctor’s office, this cabin was hand-hewn from American Chestnut by local craftsmen. In 2012, it was moved log by log and rebuilt with reclaimed materials and handcrafted details. Inside, enjoy a full kitchen, cozy living space, modern amenities, and Wi-Fi. Outside, relax on the covered porch by the creek. Just minutes from hiking, fishing, the Smokies, and downtown Bryson City, The Cullisia blends heritage and comfort.
