"We specifically booked this hotel as the property advertised Laundry (that the guests can use). We were greatly disappointed as the was the one stop that we paid slightly more than our budget and went slightly out of way just for the laundry. It was also the only night we had booked for laundry during our whole trip and we could only bring a backpack. The hotel was also a little weird in that the hall lights on the different floors went off overnight. We had to get up early to catch a train and went out our door and everything was dark. We had to use our phone flashlights. Overall, it was okay."

An excellent selection of tourist information in the apartment. Simon is an excellent host, quickly responding to any questions we had.Lungern is a stunningly beautiful town with great walks - a perfect location for an active break."

"This property is a working farm. It is a rustic as the owner described. The owner lives in the other half of the house. We were met by our host on arrival and had some challenges with the language since we do not speak German. The house was clean and it was spacious. The kitchen had an adequate supply of pots and pans but there was no microwave which made some things more challenging. We had a worn down heavily used scrub pad in the kitchen that we had to replace. You have to haul your trash to the nearest town so if staying more than 1-2 days you need to buy trash bags. We were a little surprised that you have to replenish any coffee pods (we did) or dishwasher tablets (we hand washed) you use. The washer annd drier were convenient. Upon departure our host and her son did a house inspection while we waited outside to ensure “you did not break anything” (we did not). Overall the house was comfortable and served its purpose to explore the area. "
