"The hotel is in a fantastic location - less than a 10 min walk into the square with restaurants close by. There is currently road works happening close by, but this didn’t affect our stay. Our room was big and overlooked the canal. Loved the panelling, and the bathroom was very nice. Cleaning could have been better in the bathroom, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Bed was big and comfy, and the room had air conditioning which came in useful. Could have done with a small fridge in the room, but for a 3 star hotel I wouldn’t expect this. Would stay here again and would recommend to others."

When is the best time to go to Bruges?
The best time to go to Bruges is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. In spring, Bruges comes alive with blossoming flowers, particularly in the Begijnhof, offering a picturesque setting. The temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 10°C to 15°C, making it comfortable for walking tours and canal cruises. You'll find the city less crowded than in the peak summer months, meaning quicker access to attractions like the Belfry of Bruges and the Groeningemuseum.Autumn also provides agreeable weather, with temperatures similar to spring, usually between 10°C and 16°C. The changing leaves add a beautiful dimension to the city's canals and historic architecture. This period is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway, as the slightly cooler air and fewer tourists create a more intimate experience. You can enjoy cosy evenings in traditional pubs and explore the city's chocolate shops and breweries without the summer rush. While summer (June to August) offers the warmest weather and longer daylight hours, it's also the busiest time, with higher hotel prices and larger crowds at popular spots.
