A wonderful home, perfect hosts and a great location. The property is very central but still manages to be quiet and peaceful. All you will need and lovely gardens.
A great property where 3 generations have enjoyed a long weekend stay. Communication from the owner was exceptional. The property has a great layout, was spotlessly clean and the history of the property offers another great element of charm. Well located near to good restaurants, shops and within easy distance of beautiful surroundings. This is a property we would love to return to and one we would highly recommend.
What a delightful experience! The accommodations, the gardens, the hosts, all were stellar! We could have not picked more perfect spot for our week in the Cotswolds. Easy drive to many sites, charming town, and accommodations that made you feel like a local!I would easily return in a flash!
From the moment we arrived with a personalized greeting from the owner this property was outstanding. As described in the details, it has a large well equipped kitchen All the bedrooms have unique furnishings Property is tastefully decorated throughout in a comfortable English style. Garden is beautiful. They were even fresh figs on a tree that we were allowed to pick. The location is perfect with all the attractions of Broadway within easy walking distance, but quiet and set back from the road.
Russell court is an ideal place to stay and visit! This was our home while we road trip around the cotswolds. My partner and I stayed here with our parents and it was such a dreamy place! Andrew, was our host, he was great! The house was really clean, big, comfortable and well equipped for us, in total we were 6 adults, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Is a beautiful house, we really wish we had more than the 4 days we had there. The house has an idyllic garden with fig trees, lovely ponds and charming plants that made you believe you are in a Victorian vacation. Our parents were also blown away by this place, seriously stop looking this is the place to stay in the cotswolds. Is 5min walkind distance from the town which includes a well stock supermarket and nice tasty restaurants. Thanks Andrew for being a great host!
My friend and I very much enjoyed our time in Broadway. The location was a great base from which to visit the Cotswolds. We also loved how easy it was to walk to get groceries at the local Coop and visit restaurants.
Andrew very accommodating and very helpful place was quite charming, comfortable and in proximity to the village Broadway. Lovely outside gardens and patio eating area.
We stayed over a week with our six-year old boy and his grandparents.
The property has plenty of outdoor space for our son to run around and is very close to the city centre so walks in are very convenient. It is a lovely property and location
Wonderful long weekend spent in Broadway. Russel Court Cottage was well placed, within easy walking distance from the High Street. The house was well equipped and we very much enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sitting room with the log fire. Beautiful building, lovingly restored with wonderful gardens.
We wanted a perfect spot for Christmas with our friends. Russell Court did not disappoint. Andrew, our host, met us at check-in and showed us around this lovely property. The kitchen is well appointed, the front room cozy and warm. I highly recommend this location for a retreat in the Cotswolds.
We thoroughly enjoyed our brief (3 night) stay at Russell Court. It is very close to Broadway center which was great for my mother to be able to walk to. It also has a ground floor bedroom which was useful for my mother who has difficulty with stairs. The place was very comfortable, well equipped, clean and has a wonderful garden and grounds which we enjoyed. Highly recommended.
The property is beautiful. It is in a fabulous location which is a very easy walk to the high street. Loved the private parking. The garden is stunning. The welcome basket was a thoughtful delicious addition. Andrew was a treat to work with. We would definitely rent again.
We have just returned from the most lovely long weekend in Broadway. Russell Court is comfortable and cosy and feels more like a friend’s house than a holiday rental. The House it is attached to is steeped in interesting history (which we learnt more about at the Broadway museum) and the garden is exceptionally exquisite. Andrew the host is welcoming and extremely helpful. Broadway is a gem of a village with restaurants and shops in a traditional Cotswolds setting. We had a truly wonderful trip!
An amazing property with lots of history. 10 minutes walk to the high street with restaurants and shops. The property has a ground floor un suite bathroom ideal for an older person the other two bedrooms are on 1st and 2nd floor both with un suite bedrooms. Beautiful open fire place in the living room which we used everyday, go to the garage to purchase logs as the coop is more expensive. The house is very warm and comfy and we had such a lovely time celebrating the New Year. Would recommend this lovely property for couplles and families
We stayed there for Xmas - 23rd to 26th - 6 of us and had a fantastic time celebrating at both the house and in Broadway Village.
Andrew was always very responsive on all our requests and everything was there for us, noting we actually cooked a full on Xmas lunch there too.
A very short walk into beautiful Broadway offering many shops, pubs and restaurants. However always lovely to return to the house to chill out in either a really fab lounge or great kitchen. All the bedrooms were perfect size and all with ensuite's.
Anyway we will definitely be back when in the area and staying with friends - perfect - big thumbs up from all of us who had a brilliant mini Christmas vacation
Russell Court is a very special place to stay. You’re aware you are staying somewhere with a lots of beautiful history but with all the modern comforts needed for a perfect stay - comfortable beds, luxury showers, heating, lovely kitchen etc. Andrew made us so welcome with prompt friendly comms. Spacious relaxed parking was a real bonus in such a premium location. This was our first time in Broadway and the property is perfectly situated - a 5 minute walk to the main street and green full of glorious eateries, traditional pubs and tempting shops. We visited at New Year and the whole village looked stunningly festive. (A quick tip - make eating and drinking table reservations well in advance for holiday weekends! We did and were grateful for it - Broadway gets very busy.... )We’d recommend this place to everyone looking for a very special visit and would love to return! Thanks
The property was all it was advertised to be. We were all very pleased with the facilities. We do wish the property had a clothes dryer. There was a washing machine, but no dryer. We certainly wish we had stayed longer as the Cotswolds are so remarkable and the property met our needs. The garden right outside our room was so beautiful. There are additional gardens that are part of the property, but unfortunately we were not allowed to visit that part of the property. The owners have over an acre of flowers and well manicured lawns. The location is excellent as the downtown restaurant are is a short three minute walk. This is a great place for touring the Cotswolds.
Russell Court Cottage was the perfect place for a long weekend away with our extended family. The owners have taken great care to ensure that the cottage furnishings are sympathetic to the age of the property and yet not missing any mod-cons.
Particular highlights include the bathrooms (all en-suite and with high quality fittings) and the kitchen, which is generously equipped and was the perfect place to cook and enjoy a roast dinner with the family. However, this is not to diminish any of the other rooms, which were all lovely places to spend time.
The outdoor spaces are wonderful, with access to rambling gardens, ample parking and even an EV charging point. The location couldn't be more central, with the attractions of Broadway High Street right on your doorstep.
We could not have been made more welcome, with Andrew taking personal care to ensure everything was as we required. Russell Court Cottage is highly recommended by us and we hope to stay again!
Positives - Location is superb and we really liked the town of Broadway - Communication with owner was excellent and they provide fantastic details on the house and things to do in the surrounding area - House is large and well stocked with everything you would need - Gift basket on arrival (complete with chocolate Easter bunny ) was a nice surprise - EV charger in the driveway was a big plus for us - Beds all very comfortable with good mattressesNegatives - Boiler conked out the day before we arrived. Owner provided space heaters for the rooms, which was sufficient for late April, but the shower water was tepid at best. (We actually left Sunday night instead of Mon morning because we couldn't face a 3rd day of cold showers.) - Some items in the home are getting old - - e.g. sofas in the living room - The house was generally clean, but there was the odd spider web in the LR chandelier, mould on the shower seals, etc. It might be time for a deep cleaning.
Our stay at Russell Court was fabulous! Our host, Andrew, was very welcoming and available should we need anything. Check in was easy and the home was absolutely lovely. Very comfortable and spacious for our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers). The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace made the space very cozy after our chilly days out exploring the Cotswolds. I can’t recommend Russell Court enough - we are already looking forward to a return visit.
