"We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away at Fisher’s point. The cottage was beautifully decorated and surrounded by gorgeous landscapes. We loved how remote and private the property was, which allowed for a super relaxing vacation. The kids enjoyed all the wildlife that nature had to offer and fishing from the beach area. The house had a fully stocked kitchen and everything we needed to feel at home! Thank you for sharing your amazing piece of paradise with our family!"

"We enjoyed our stay primarily for the cleanliness and location. It is across from a cemetery, but that didn’t bother us. Quiet neighbors, my husband said. But we loved the covered side porch and the comfy bed. Only down sides were the bathroom was very small, especially the shower, and the floors are pretty uneven, which would be a challenge for older guests (including the steep and slippery stairs up to the primary bedroom). Also, it appears that the owners suite is located just down the hall...

"This clean and cozy VRBO is positioned perfectly within historical downtown Newbern. The Tryon Palace is directly across the street. Atlantic beach is 45 minutes away. You are in walking distance to many different types of restaurants. It was a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. We will be staying here again."

"A little pricey for me, and the house itself I would rate as funky but chic, but its right on the creek with beautiful views and a short drive to town. Eagles flying about. Kayaks, etc. Should have brought my boat but its 800 miles to where i live. We went in late March, would be great in the warm months. I give it a 4 out of 5. Do it."

"The home was nice but I did not realize it was a condo setting. I did not like having to interrupt my stay by going to the check in office the following morning, since I did not arrive until 7 pm and they cut my door access off at 10 am the following morning."
