"The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the beach and lake. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ambience of the fake fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and staff was helpful and it was great to have real dishes. Loved having the bar right there and being able to sit outside by the fire pit. Great bartender, too. Pool and hot tub were great -- both were large and appropriate temperatures. One difficulty was having to go up & down 5-6 steps even after getting on our floor."

"Beautiful location right on Lake Huron! all the rooms have a lakefront view. It was so nice getting to walk on the beach whenever we wanted! The staff were great and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed could use a new mattress and the pillows were a little too flat, but overall it was comfortable. The only real negative is that there aren’t many options for breakfast, no protein options except hard boiled eggs, only pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, and toast. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby though. Overall, this is a great hotel for the price. I would definitely stay here again. "
