"I love this hotel. I’ve stayed here several times. The suites are very comfortable and very clean. It’s 1 and half blocks from the beach and close to great places to eat and shop. It’s my favorite beach town. Quiet and small."

"The room was very clean, the beds & sheets were extremely comfortable and the location of the hotel was a quick walk to the beach (less than a football field). The beach itself was wide, and clean with lots of shells. A littlenchilly, but overall it was a nice trip and I would recommend staying at the Surf City Hotel. A heads up for people staying there (or somewhere on Long Beach Island) during off season: make sure you have (or get) dinner early. I was not aware that most restaurants & stores close at 9p and we scrambled for something to eat later in the evening. Nardi's Tavern saved the day (or night as the case may be) with a tasty pepperoni pizza! No complaints at all - just looking to share that information with others so they can plan ahead. "

"My kids loved this hotel and the rooms are a great size.We stayed a Wednesday to a Friday, Thursday morning there was a sign on the pool that it was closed until further notice. When I asked the front desk about it, the gentleman was extremely rude. I heard other guests asking about the pool also, and he was short, unkind and irritated at everyone. We booked this hotel for the pool and we were given no details. On Friday when it was opened the pool and hot tub were freezing."

"Room clean"

"I received two key cards for Room 139; however, neither card worked when I initially attempted to enter. I returned to the front desk, where the staff reprogrammed the keys. After receiving the updated key cards, I went back to Room 139 and was able to open the door. Unfortunately, this led to a very uncomfortable and inappropriate situation, as the room was already occupied by another guest. Walking into an occupied room is a serious lapse in basic hotel procedures and raises concerns about both guest privacy and safety. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this experience was extremely unsettling and has left a negative impression. Due to this incident, I will most likely not be returning in the future."

"No restaurant Snacks in room not fully stocked "

"This is our favorite spot on the island. The entire crew is awesome! Bartenders, wait staff, front desk, etc....everyone is friendly and super accommodating. Food and drinks are superb!"

"The room was clean and dated, but expected from a busy beach front location. Parking was easy, as was check in. Very nice greeting and helpful front desk. "
