"We enjoyed hanging out in the lounge -- and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed one night en route to Balmoral. We also did the Persie Gin Distillery tour and tasting which was nearby - and we would not have known about it but for the Dalmunzie website. Their site includes lots of helpful info about the area"

"The resort is quite old and in some spots pretty rundown. The cleaning team does a great job with what they have. when it comes to the support staff We found a range between some who were kind and helpful and others who seemed as if they were a bit hungover and couldn't be bothered"

It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you hadn’t made any other plans, but could simply unwind and recharge in this serene and restorative setting. We honestly can’t think of anything that could be improved. From Morag’s warm hospitality to the large, comfortable rooms, the peaceful surroundings, and the best Scottish breakfast anywhere, everything was perfect. We even began to wonder if Morag has some influence over the weather—we had clear blue skies throughout our stay. Next time, we’re staying longer!"

"The hotel is beautiful and the amenities such as the pool, workout room, etc. are excellent. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the finer dining restaurant. The service was great at check in, check out and the restaurant. Our room was extremely spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sitting area very nice. The big negative is there is no air conditioning. I guess I should have assumed this since the building is so old but we have stayed at older places that have been renovated and there is air conditioning. The hallways and common places in the hotel are so comfortable and it feels as though there is air conditioning there but not in the rooms."
