Very comfortable Spanish home

My flight was delayed 4 hours the day I had to check in and I was stuck at the airport with a toddler so I was sooooo incredibly happy and relieved come to Deon and Dawns amazing clean and comfy home. I instantly loved all the Spanish detail tiles, decor, etc they had around the house. We were so comfortable and felt like we were at home. Deon was great to talk to and flexible with our change of schedule as well. We highly recommend staying at Deon and Dawns home!

Charming home in ideal Cal Heights location

Third time staying at this lovely home. Locations perfect to visit with our kids and grandkids. Especially enjoyed the private backyard this time. Easy and timely communication with the owners. Will stay again!

Beautiful Spanish Revival Gem

The neighborhood was quiet. I loved the kitchen appliances and washer dryer. The bed was comfortable. The owner was attentive and kind.

Charming house and neighborhood

This house was really comfortable for us. We were visiting family nearby but wanted our own space. Lively places to sit, work and visit. House was well equipped. Property owners were lovely. Will visit again!

I can't say enough!!!!

First off, the property is beautiful and in a gorgeous neighborhood. The photos of the property are fantastic, but the place is even better in person! Perhaps the "first off" should have gone to our WONDERFUL hosts, Deon & Dawn. We knew from the moment we met them that they were special, caring individuals passionate about their properties and the people they meet. I was in CA for surgery with my son and his fiance' (newly engaged while we were there)! Deon & Dawn consistently checked on my well-being and progress and even brought fresh flowers over the day before my surgery. The house was well stocked and just SO perfect. My son worked remotely from the home office the 2nd week we were there and it was also fully equipped with monitors, fax/scanner/printer/copier. We were there for 17 days and the house couldn't have been more perfect. Deon shared some sage advice and memorable life lessons with my son and his fiance' that they are still talking about. Thank you for the inspiration Deon! I would highly recommend this wonderful property hosted by these even more wonderful people!!! We would definitely book again!!

Birthday celebration

Host Deon met us at the property and gave us a great orientation. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and darling outdoor area. Off street parking a real plus. Great neighborhood.

Home away from home

Just the perfect home. Our kids live around the corner and this lovely home has become 'Grandma's house' to our two year old granddaughter since we stay here on frequent visits. It is comfortable and charming. So happy that I could even easily bake my daughter-in-law a birthday cake in the well equipped kitchen. Property owners are lovely and communication is seamless. Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful Historic Home

We lived one block from this home for more than 20 years but recently moved to another state. We returned to Long Beach for a family wedding and synagogue services at Temple Beth Shalom and this home was perfect for us (baby granddaughter, her parents and her grandparents)! Hosts Deon & Dawn were exceptionally welcoming during our introductory tour. The home is spotless, with limitless historic character and easy parking. We look forward to future stays when we are in Long Beach!

Complete comfort!

We could not have been more comfortable. Owners provided quick tour and provided help with adaptors needed. Surprisingly, some nonparishable condiments provided. Beds very comfortable and neighborhood quiet. Best stay so far using VRBO. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect house

This house was perfect! It was clean, comfortable and convenient. I was there for surgery and this house was the perfect place to recover. Our hosts Deon and Dawn were super nice and sweet. Communication was easy and any questions we had or anything we needed were answered in a timely manner. The house was exactly as advertised and we truly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was safe, friendly and close to the 405. Thanks for having us!

We so enjoyed our visit. . .the owners met us at check in with a brief tour of the home and all the amenities. This home is just exceptional and we will definitely stay here when we return to visit our grandchildren. As beautiful as the home is the backyard and patio are even better. . .private and tranquil.

Comfy and charming home away from home!

It was wonderful meeting the generous and welcoming hosts after our long drive. Their beautiful home was perfect for our family of four: modern and well-decorated, comfortable and light. It had everything we needed—even an office space for a last-minute printout! We made use of the charming backyard space which allowed us to meet with our local friends. The neighborhood is great for morning walks and has a delicious restaurant nearby. We hope to stay again next time we are in Long Beach, thank you, D & D!
