Super location, opposite Porter station which I hadn’t realised on booking, it was perfect for travelling to all Boston must see areas. Being from outside the US we found the Boston subway system very user friendly. We would recommend certainly for the location. Also priced well compared to other Boston hotels.

Hotel 1868 was in a perfect location for our weekend visiting Tufts. It is across the street from the T, and walking distance to Davis Square and the campus. There were coffee shops nearby for an easy breakfast. The room was small, but very efficiently planned. We had everything we needed, including drawers under the bed so we could unpack our suitcases. The bed was comfortable, there was coffee in the room, everything was clean - just a great experience overall!
