Rare Val Thorens Superb apartment in detached chalet. Calm, cocooning.

"We had a lovely stay at this apartment for a week of skiing in Val Thorens. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of seven. The host, Chantal is very welcoming and gave us a full tour of the apartment when we arrived as well as giving us information about the resort and services like the bread delivery. The apartment is located below the main resort of Val Thorens just above car park no. 3. It’s very close to the piste (around 50 metres) and the bottom of the 2 Lacs lift so extremely convenient for getting on the slopes quickly in the morning. It takes 15 minutes or so to walk up the piste to get to the centre of VT for restaurants, shops etc.All in all we had a brilliant holiday. Thank you Chantal. "

"Great location, with large ski locker on 2nd floor. Easy access to rear of building to ski onto beginner slope by magic tunnel tube. And good to ski to back door. Also easy access to the main centre via rear door on 2nd floor. Loads of hot water. Parking p1 was just up the hill with parking outside the apartment to drop off stuff.8 in our group was the right size, more would have been a squeeze.Boot rack, washing machine, tv, wifi, coffee machine, big fridge/freezer were all really good. Warm apartment.Lift was generally good and never much of a delay but at key busy times there was a short wait.Mattresses a bit small and tired. Some nights we had loud groups of people making a noise outside. Could do with a few more pots for serving food."

"Nice apartment for max 6 people, I would say. The location is outstanding to ski in and ski out. Ski rental en supermarket in the building is really handy.The double beds are small, only 140cm wide. The inside is indeed renovated, but the building itself has a run-down look. It’s all worn out and old.And be aware that it can be noisy in the night with party people coming home.Communication with Coralie was good."

"I found the check in instructions were only released that morning of travelling , which is a little stressful when taking airports, transfers etc into consideration .A minimum of 48 hrs should be provided .Pascale always replied quickly but I wasn’t sure who was responsible for the appartment .Good location , newly refurbished .Would have liked soap in both bathrooms and bare essentials like salt, pepper, coffee in kitchen ."
