"Room is dated and needs some refurb, bathroom particularly which needs conventional shower option and not one where you must sit in bath to use it. Ladder/staircase to loft room is steep. Pictures make it look spacious but its very tight and would suggest 4 person max, any more is a biq squeeze. Staff very helpful. "

Everyone was very nice and helpful in every aspect of our stay (shout out to Thierry for his care with our luggage, shuttle and car). The facility is top notch, well worth the money, you won’t be disappointed. Ski shop/rental was amazing every day and the lockers were so convenient. "The vieuw is greet. P1 is near the building.The appartment to little for many adults. (You cannot stand at the big bedroom and there is no window upstairs). Also its difficult for everyone to take a shower, a verry quick shower is possible.The cleaning was not verry well. My son in law was verry short of breath in the house. Unfortunatly, the noise from people afther visit a club was heavy, till 4.00 am."

"Everything about this hotel is FANTASTIC. The staff is the friendliest, customer service is amazing and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous plus the rooms are really spacious. Honestly if it wasn’t because we were skiing I don’t think we would’ve left our room. It was late in the season and the hotel was still staffed. Definitely worth the price, amazing all over. "

"Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year! "
