"This property is charming. The rooms are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and housekeeping does an excellent job. My room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast that is included was delicious. A nice variety of breakfast foods. Natalie does not speak very much English so it is hard to communicate but send a message through the Expedia app and you get an immediate response. Great stay and close to the beach and the natural pools. It is good to do your research of things in the area...

"The food was very interesting. Some overcooked. There were ants in the dessert. We often resorted to the restaurants along the pier. They also forgot to put my birthday amenity until after we arrived but all in all the hotel was beautiful and had a very scenic view to gaze upon the mountains, oceans and sunsets. I wish it was closer to Funchal as it’s 40 minutes away and quite expensive to frequently travel to. The area is quite limited with activities so having a shorter stay would’ve been a better idea to see more of the island. But nice if you’re looking to just relax."

"The Venezuelan receptionist Susete was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel has charm and character throughout, guests made to feel really welcome, pick fruit from the garden, help themselves to drinks (and pay for them on the honesty sheet), and the complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival was a lovely touch. We were very disappointed that we were only staying for 2 nights in this very highly recommended hotel. Huge choice for breakfast too - magical!"

"Property was immaculate. Great views. Customer service responded quickly. Having a kitchen on site, parking, decent size fridge/freezer and coffee machine… all big bonuses. Only downside was the laundry machine and dryers were very small and even after drying for an hour our clothes were still wet. Overall, I would stay again but don’t depend on the laundry facilities being fast. 😅"

"1905 Zino’s Palace is an historical gem on Madeira Portugal. The food was so outstanding and delicious that we ate all three dinners there. Plus we had a lunch when we arrived that was convenient and yummy. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection of goodies plus eggs to order. The employees, each and every one of them was helpful, talkative and enjoyable. To stay there and know your money is being put into a historical building is worth every penny. You feel like you have gone back in time to enjoy a place that is so special. If nothing else, you could sit and enjoy the view all day and all night long. Oh, I forgot, a lovely pool to sit by and watch the view also. You won’t be disappointed by staying here."
