"The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay."

"The house was warm & inviting when we arrived as we did Xmas in the house. Plenty of private space for 3 small families. House had fireplaces to take the dampness out. A lovely tree was assembled. Hot tub was a treat for all of us while watching a colorful sunset. Hosts were very helpful & accommodating. Could not have been a better place for our needs! Even a winter bar que! "

"Clean rooms, beautiful pool and bar, security is weird and creepy make sure you get dressed in the bathroom in your hotel room the old bald security guard walked right into my room. Wasn’t even aware they had copies of room keys. Scary!!!! "
