The room we booked had a leak in the bathroom but staff identified this before our arrival and relocated us to their other hotel (The Melrose) just across the road.
The only two issues were that the shower was scalding hot and the temperature control was broken and that there was a pair of dirty sock down the side of the bed meaning it had not been pulled out for housekeeping.
Everything else was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. They took COVID very seriously and face coverings were compulsory in public areas.
For the price we paid this was way better than many similarly priced places in the area.
The hotel was in a good area not too far from the coral island and central pier (if you don’t mind walking) when we arrived we waited 20 mins to check in and the owner did not answer her phone throughout the 20 minutes we were waiting! She asked us for a deposit of £10 for the tv remote and keys, fair but was never mentioned before. We had paid for a parking space at cadeby lodge (£5 per night) only to be told we had to park at a hotel further down the road. Anyways we spent more time out and about so didn’t spend too much time at the b&b!
We had come back from pleasure beach one of the days to find out there was nowhere to park, so I told the owner and she got very angry with me about not being able to fit my car into a small gap between a wall and an Audi A5.
The woman that owns the b&b is very quick to clean and sanitizes everything! (Apart from your room which she will not clean through the duration of your stay)
The beds were a double bed with a king mattress (nightmare) and double duvet too! (even more of a nightmare).
When we left the owner had messaged me about a stain left on the duvet cover from some take away we had, it wasn’t a big stain (definitely could have gotten it out) asked me for a £20 damage fee that was never mentioned anywhere throughout the time we was there, booking or even prior to booking.
The bar area is also no longer in use!
My advice is to stay away if you are a family or couple.
You might be okay solo
The mattress was too big for the bed base so the mattress was hanging of the base the sheets on the bed smelt really bad when we turned up the bar area was disgusting they was empty crisps packets drinks etc,I know you get what you pay for but it ain’t hard to clean up

was only disappointing that restaurant and bar was closed room was tiny but accommodating the girl running it was lovely friendly helpful
It was okay room was clean but we had the same towels for four days, and there are a lot of rules that they dont tell you but they will charge you for it.
Not tea or coffee kettle was rubbish and wifi is bad the beds were comfy, the area was good but it took a while to find as they all basically look the same.
Marisa and the man who checked us out (didn't catch his name) were absolutely lovely. Precautions were taken such as temperature check when you come in.
Perfect for a cheap night away.
Not sure what people expect paying that price. It was clean and quiet and we had no issues at all.
We got a text after booking advising us of parking fee, and there was a space left for us when we got there. Would definitely go stay there again.
staff ok with us , but upset other guests , will not be returning

Disliked: Staff & service
Booked with cadeby Lodge two months before our stay. Received our confirmation and was told to email them direct if we wanted breakfast so we did.
Turned up for checking in and no answer at the door or on the phone. The owner and her son was about 7-8 years old turned up running from the Mel rose hotel across the road which was also run by them. Told us our room was unavailable due to two drunks had flooded it the night before and re located us to Mel rose hotel. We agreed and got to the Mel rose. Put a travel cot in as asked for us which we waited 40 minutes to be put up and wasn't made aware of what was going on during this time. She expected her son to put the travel cot up which he was only a child himself.
We got into our family room as expected which turned out to be two single beds and a travel cot. Bathroom was tiny.
We weren't given any additional information on any breakfast or payment for breakfast which I had already emailed them about.
The night time wasn't any better.. Arguing heard between owner and guests around 11.15pm to which disturbed us all. Tumble dryer was on all night by owner in the room next to ours. Didn't sleep at all.
We booked breakfast with owner which. Chef wasn't aware of and turned cookers off. We eventually had our breakfast which was cooked breakfast which was nice but weren't told to help ourselves. No customer service at all. A bloke waited an hour and still waited. Never again will we stay. This isn't half of it.
DIRTY! So many cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, ripped wallpaper, squeaky doors, tepid water, no soap, lumpy bed & pillows, cardboard cereal, disgusting tasting butter..... the list goes on. At breakfast we were told it was self service toast then just left alone. I could smell cooked breakfast but none was offered to us, so we ate the cardboard cheap cereal and toast. We went back to our rooms and later came a knock on our bedroom door to say our cooked breakfast was waiting for us. I told the lady she should have spoken to us and asked us if we wanted breakfast when we first entered the dining room. We are vegetarians and certainly would not have appreciated a plate full of sausage & bacon being dumped infront of us. We should have been able to order what we wanted for breakfast. The WORSE thing about this place is the fact that they try to extort money out of you for the parking by frightening you with claims that a company is about to fine you £100 for parking on private land. Ebookers states 'Parking - limited' and does not state there is a fee. However, scribbled on a piece of paper in reception is a message saying £5 parking. Whilst out with my daughter for the day I received a text message stating I was about to be fined £100 and I need to pay the £5 parking charge over the phone, which I did. Since returning home after our awful stay at Cadeby Lodge, I have received another text demanding more money! Theives!

Small but clean
The room was small but clean, it had everything we needed and for the price we paid what more can you want.
Owners are Chinese and very rude! The rooms are dirty, smelly, bedding wasn’t clean and the bathroom had mould. Keep away! We literally stayed in the room for 3 hours and ended up leaving.

Worth the money’s
Only stayed 1 night when we were in Blackpool for an event at Winter Gardens. Host was welcoming, room was clean and tidy and although not large is was big enough for our needs. Tea and coffee provided in room and towels in bathroom. Overall I was pleased with what we got for price paid
Great location and friendly staff. They had an issue with one of the rooms and moved us to another hotel just down the road, a little closer to the front.
When we got there landlady very polite when I paid for the room there was nothing more said about paying for anything else as she'd seen us getting out of our cars and when I booked this on my iternary there was nothing said about parking fees but that soon changed when my friends came tried to charge them double the price on what was booked getting two male men in to make my friends feel intimidated so they moved across the road which I now wish we had all done as 4rooms was pre booked once in the room you started noticing the room not very clean next morning my friends asked for clean bedding as it was not clean basically last people in room you could smell which took 3 days for her to change we all asked for more teabags etc and towels well towels came on 4 day not nice and teabags I brought some gave up on her my daughter went to have a shower that came off the pole so my husband fixed it for the hot water you had to turn it to cold coming out off the shower she slipt as no bathmat I asked for one which I got but she took it on day 3 back and never replaced I went and knocked on her door to ask for another one but no answer so have up and used something else the cold tap on sink you had to use two hands to turn it on as moved toilet roll I had to go out and buy as she didn't replace we were there for there for 7days and we had to keep washing our mugs as she didn't do any cleaning of room on day 3 we had to ask for bin to be emptied it a was nightmare
Me comentaron que por problemas de estado de la habitación que me habían goteras debía cambiar de hotel. Supuestamente el hotel que me daban era mejor, pero no era así. Me es complicado opinar y dar puntuación ya que realmente no me pude alojar en este.
