"A very quiet place to stay it was lovely seeing the deer when we opened the patio door curtains in the morning and sometimes the deer came back again later. The Stables had everything we needed modern bright and comfortable. It was also within reach of eating places and pretty villages. Not too far from Portsmouth so able to visit Mary Rose and The Victory etc. etc. Great place to be."

"This fairy tale cottage was a dream! It sat on a beautiful property with views of the flora and fauna from every window. It was peaceful and relaxing to go back to after hours of sightseeing each day. A boat was listed under the VRBO amenities, but it was a misprint according to the owner. Regardless of the boat or not, the home had plenty to do and offered many other tranquil options. We miss it already!"

"Room was compact but ok Clean & warm -visited in December Safe didn’t work which may have been batteries but was an overnight stay so not a big issue Found bfast strange -started with fruit juice, cereal, toast & croissants -the latter usually served after full English. I found a hair in my scrambled egg which I’d eaten & had to remove from my mouth -not pleasant. Girl serving who was doubling as a receptionist didn’t apologise which I thought odd & asked me to put on a plate so she could show kitchen. I couldn’t eat rest of breakfast & didn’t have time to reorder even though she asked if could get me anything else. She did apologise later as we checked out. I did say not what I expected as kitchen workers wear hats -she said the chef was bald. I know these things happen unfortunately. Think bfast could do with being served at 08.00 We arrived on Sunday at 16.00 -3 places in Wickham served food but only one open at this time. The soundproofing in the room did not prevent noise from next room Would I stay again -yes -not sure I’d have breakfast though "
