"Lovely hotel, nice breakfast and beautiful garden with option to take a walk in the woods. Be aware if you don't book directly on the website, you will need to pay extra for spa and pool access which is a bit strange considering you are a guest in the hotel. Pool entry was also timed which is really not great but made sure there are no crowds in the pool."

"We was supposed for the cost of the room that no real adequate cooling system was in place , instead - stepping into a room that was hotter than the rest of hotel we had already been and hotter than outside the building . Might I suggest in hotter months that windows are opened and curtains closed to allow circulation of air through the room , it was the most uncomfortable stay we’ve had in a hotel in the summer time . A small fan was just not efficient enough . So to allow some sort of cooler room , windows were opened , curtains closed and fan was put by window to allow cooler air flow , though as I joked to the reception person , I think sleeping in the corridor would be better after he offered me ice though I’m not sure where he expected me to put the ice . The restaurant staff exceeded themselves , so very polite and welcoming . A nice relaxed meal that was 100% out of this world . I would recommmend 100% people to visit hotel for food , but to stay wouldn’t recommend especially in summer months where the hotel does not have any kind of A/C for the cost of the room . Once again - restaurant staff - keep up the good work !!"

"Upon arrival we were told there would be a continental breakfast as well as a cooked breakfast but only had a cooked breakfast offered. However it was good"

"This fairy tale cottage was a dream! It sat on a beautiful property with views of the flora and fauna from every window. It was peaceful and relaxing to go back to after hours of sightseeing each day. A boat was listed under the VRBO amenities, but it was a misprint according to the owner. Regardless of the boat or not, the home had plenty to do and offered many other tranquil options. We miss it already!"

"We stayed at the stables for one week. The place was very beautiful and had all the facilities we needed, except for a coffee maker. The large kitchen with lots of utensils made it easy to prepare food. One minor detail was the lighting: in the evening, the available lights were quite bright. Smaller, cozier lights could greatly improve the ambiance."
