Manager was very friendly and room clean and very spacious. Unfortunately, there was water by the toilet pan as it was leeking . This could be a really nice hotel witb a bit of TLC . Was really good price also.

This hotel is only to be considered for a night's stay between travel. We were a bit surprised Wotif would list the hotel as it is , as noted by a reviewer, closer to a hostel than a hotel. Still, the shower was hot and towels were supplied on asking. And the wifi worked. And we slept just fine. The bus to the airport was close by. I would be looking elsewhere next time, unless I was on a really tight budget.

Convenient Location

Excellent value for money. Comfortable and spacious with good en suite facilities. Ideal with manned reception for check in late into the evening.

Great for the price

Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Reception attendant welcoming and helpful. Great for the price. A little noisy when guests arrived but our room was very nearby so a bit unavoidable.

The room stunk of Bad body odour, the cups were dirty around the handles, floor was coming apart, thudding from upstairs so sleep was poor. Was advertised has having a restaurant but wasn’t one. The only positive was the man on reception was very polite and helpful.

Convenient but basic.

This place is for convenience, not luxury! The room I was given was next to a busy road and also a residents room who had the TV on quite loud most of the night! The bed was fine, but the bathroom in poor condition and smelly. The staircase and landing area was also dirty. The only plus was it being a short bus ride to and from the airport.

Friendly staff, helpful stuff, easy check-in, not very clean, cold water, not able to have a shower in the evening or morning due to no hot water!!!!.…. Good location for Stansted airport.

The property was in good condition and the bedroom was perfectly OK. The young Asian man who booked us in was very pleasant and helpful when a small problem arose. Unfortunately he enterprise seems to have gone downhill as there was no restaurant as advertised and the Wi-Fi did not work, even we were given the "correct" login details for the router. Handy for the airport though!

Not a place to recommend

This definitely is dont judge on first appearance!! Arrived & paked in the only 1 disabled space, but 1s better than none. Entered into a spacious reception & greeted politely, oyr roon was just to the right so access ideal. We opened the room door & thought geeat a good size Unfortunately thats were the praise ends!! The room had damaged flooring a bed with no headboard no mattress or pillow protectors, only 1 towrl in the room a kettle that did not work lights that didnt work & although there was wifi instructions in the reception & room neither worked. The bathroom had rust and rails that fell apart - the shower had missing rail connections so you coukdnt adjust the height. On our return in the evening the parking area was completely full, random vehicles including lots of taxis so no where to park

Good value for money

Can't complain for the price. I was just looking for a cheap hotel near stansted before catching my plane and it did the job perfectly. Its really close to the airport and there is a bus right next to the hotel....definitely recommend.

Good for the price

I stayed one night as I needed the airport close. Nice staff at reception, quick check-in, car park. The room and the bathroom were very spacious but level of cleanliness quite low (I had to get rid of dirty bed sheets myself). Comfortable bed

It was... almost all right. People over the phne friendly and lovely. Place... well, poor. No way around it - its poor, dirty. It was priced accordingly, but yes - by far the worse we tried. Would I use again? In company of 3 mates and 2 bottles - possibly. With my lady - no, I think I wouldn't. It actually was less than enough. Very sorry (hate leaving bad reviews, especially when staff nice), but this really was a poor place. I suggest to spend 20 quid more on something else.

Convenient location in close proximity to Stanstead airport. The 508 bus is handy to be dropped off within 100yds and get back to the airport again. Room info needed updating as no dining options. TV signal was hit and miss and my shower was leaking. However, I would use this place again due to convenient location and reasonable price.

was ok...

i was staying one night for stansted airport the next morning. the welcome inside and information regarding local taxis was great. the room was warm enough, but the only major complaint i have was the shower. the was ICE COLD FREEZING :( no hot water at all. by the time i went to have a shower it was an hour before i had to leave for the airport and no one was there to help. unless you like cold showers, make sure to have a hot shower at home before staying or flag up to staff immediately. don't wait like i did.

Wouldn't stay again

Good :- very close to the airport Room was a good size and warm. Bad:-Shower a trickle all scaled up ; floor slippery,not bath mat had to put the towal on the floor to get out of the shower. No hairdry in room as advertised. Bed lumpy, very uncomfortable. Did sleep much. Could do with a lot off improvements. Wouldn't stay again or recommend.

"It ain't fancy, but it's cheap"

This place does exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing too fancy, not the cleanest place out there, but the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the kettle works great. Not a lot to complain about if you're not expecting The Bellagio in Vegas. Overall, it was good experience. I also walked from Stansted airport both ways, which took about an hour and this was an excellent substitute for sleeping on an airport floor. There's also a bus that runs right past it to the airport, which could also be nice.

It’s good for what we needed- one night stay before travelling early to the airport. Difficult to get an Uber around and the bus was late so they recommended a taxi company which was helpful. Checking in receptionist was lovely and friendly. Receptionist in the morning didn’t really understand our queries as there was some confusion around the car parking as we weren’t advised. Car parking was cheap compared to others, £6 a night and was able to leave the car there for the time we were away. Room wasn’t dirty but just old, needs a bit of care and attention Wish I got the name of the night receptionist, he was so nice!

Poor

Noisy could hear upstairs weeing, next door talking, bathroom smelt of mustiness, two half used toilet rolls for a week, two towels for a week, they came in made bed and left, no hairdryer, only a kettle. No restaurant or bar on site. Very disappointing. Bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. Left after day 1 was meant to be there 5 nights.

Price was good as well as location and staff were friendly, however there was no hot water so I could not use the facilities. The main door to the building was left open all night which made me feel unsafe and people were slamming doors and talking into the early hours of the morning. The door to my room did not lock properly either and the room in general was not clean at all.

For £59 a night I was not expecting much, therefore I wasn't too surprised by the spider webs above the bed. Otherwise, the room seemed clean, the bed too and we had 2 clean towels. Unfortunately, we had to sacrifice one towel to the bathroom floor because the shower bassinet was leaking like crazy. On top of that the water was lukewarm so if you like to take a hot shower, this is not the place. The worst thing about the stay was the not flushing toilet. That was just awful.

The room appeared to be neat. I dropped my knitting needle on the floor and while looking for it, I found there to be quite a bit of dust under the bed. When I went to take a shower, the edge of the shower door was cracked and it poked my thumb which bled a little. The number one reason I chose this place is because the bus came right at the door. I found out after I got there that the bus does not come on Sunday. So I needed to pay 27 pounds for a 5 minute taxi to the airport. They said they were 1.5 miles from the airport.
