"I liked that it was right along the sea wall. Beautiful view of the Gulf. I made my reservations 3 months before and when I got there they couldn't find my reservation. Spent the better part of 1 hour getting it straightened out. Then when I got to my room it had a smell of marijuana. I had to have them come and smell it for themselves so I didn't get charged for smoking in the room."

"Clean room. Room didn’t smell bad. Air conditioning was working well and wasn’t loud. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Coffee and water was in the room for free. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"This is a very plain hotel. Our room was dirty and not well maintained. The pool was green so we did not even attempt. No coffee available in the morning.... They lock the lobby and won't let you in. It is a long walk down to all the activities on the Pier. They also charge you for parking.. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"There wasn’t a gym as indicated when I searched for a booked the property. The continental breakfast was very minimal. The staff was not welcoming when we arrived. The room was clean and the beds comfortable and it was close to restaurants and site seeing."

"Aaron, the Concierge, is great. We did a city tour with him and learned a lot about the city of Galveston. We also booked him to take us to the cruise port and had excellent drop off service. They even recommend a great ride service to and from the Houston airport with Shannon from the Saltwater Moms. Loved the breakfast service and French press coffee at the bed and breakfast as well. "
