Beautifully restored that manages to hold on to the historical elements while bringing the decor into the present. Staff couldn’t have been more wonderful! Everyone was engaging, friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and beautiful. Lively bar scene and delicious food in the restaurant. All means this is where we will stay again next time we are in Birmingham!

The property is very outdated. The hotel lobby and restaurant is nice, but rooms were not up to par with Hilton property. We did not have any hot water in the shower and the bathroom sink did not drain. I would not recommend this property to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! There was no hot water at this hotel my entire stay. I had a group booking and none of my guests had hot water either. They also erroneously charged my card 5 TIMES even though I provided them with the correct payment information before we arrived and during our stay!!! The incompetency was from the top (management) to the bottom (every front desk worker that worked a shift during our stay). They kept telling me they were going to fix the mistake, only for them to turn around and make the mistake again and again! Hilton should be ashamed! My organization will never stay here again.

It’s suppose to be a Hilton Hotel. The rooms were subpar not even a mini fridge in the rooms. Parking is horrible no on site parking you can either valet or self park in a sketchy parking garage a half block away or across the street and you have to pay for parking. Food in the on site restaurant was ok at best absolutely not worth the prices they are trying to change. Beware half the restaurants around the hotel close at 5 pm so don’t try and eat dinner late.

The hotel was convenient to the event we were in town to attend. The highlight was the staff- to a person everyone was very friendly and accommodating. While our room was fresh and clean there were a few issues- a bedside lamp had a broken harp so the light and shade leaded, the drapery had been torn at the header, the bathroom needed more towel bars, there was only one trash can for the suite, the refridgerator didn’t work. These things just needed some attention.

Electronic key system down. Hotel employee had to open the room. Restaurant did not have seafood entrees published in the menu.

There was no refrigerator in the room. We stayed two nights, the shower was cold the first night. On our second night coming back from being out the lock on our room door was dead. We had to wait in the lobby for a half hour to get into our room. The price for overnight parking through the valets is just unreasonable compared to the other hotels downtown. The staff and valet workers were amazing. This poor review is in no way because of them.

We got a room with two queen beds because we were travelling with our two children. One of the bed sheets had what looked to be dried blood on it. It has definitely been washed but was enough that we didn't feel comfortable sleeping in that bed. We all had to cram into one queen bed. Staff was very nice and even called up to our room to let us know we left our lights on on our vehicle.

Pro: Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Con: Only changed towels and not sheets for the whole 5-night stay. Missing body wash and were given small soaps instead.
