"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"This is a blatant misrepresentation of the accommodation, you assume the photo on the advert is the building but it is not. The actual building resembles a derelict house with badly peeling black paint and grubby door and windows in an unattractive area where it feels unsafe to leave your car. The inside is slightly better but has torn flooring, wallpaper that has seen better days, uncomfortable seating, poor shower and cheap linen.
