Liverpool’s natural history museum is an enthralling and family-friendly destination for exploring the outer limits of space, ancient history and the world of dinosaurs. Meet aquatic species from around the world at the museum’s aquarium. Tropical scorpion fish, bright orange clownfish and many species that call the mangroves their home are all on display here. The museum also has rare fossil specimens and ancient Egyptian artefacts on display. The World Museum is located in Liverpool’s city centre and can conveniently be reached by car or metro system. Park at the pay-and-display car park behind the museum. Admission to the museum is free and it is open every day except Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
