And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. "We have been coming to this area since late eighties. Rented and stayed at different places from campgrounds to houseboats to cabins I have to say this is the best most comfortable and easily accessible place we have stayed in. The view, pond, cleanliness, ammenities, are the best. Absolutely loved the train waved enough at the conductor he started waving. Lol u can’t go wrong here"

"Property was perfect. Great woodsy location just a few miles from French Lick. The property was clean and well stocked. The host has an arrangement of activities at the property from yard darts and ping pong tables to family games and a fire pit. We had a wonderful time."

"We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!"

"For the most part we enjoyed our stay at this cabin. WiFi was a nightmare buy hey, you are in a cabin in the woods. We came to hike the national trails but the weather was bad the whole time. At one point we had a weather alert to take cover. A tornado that was spotted in the area. It cleared and we were able to go out for a little while. "I had a professional conference in French Lick and stayed in the cabin for an extended weekend from Thursday through Sunday. What a great place! The cabin is conveniently located near French Lick. It is very peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Lake Patoka and French Lick. The property managers are very good to work with.
