"Fabulous property. Gorgeous decor. Loved the big sofas to relax in. Liked the art work on the walls. Great to have magazines to read with complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits/ cake.Very good breakfast.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend."
"We enjoyed our stay at the pub. The room was lovely and the meal we had was great. Really pleasant and friendly people. We would recommend the Queen Victoria "
"My family and I enjoyed our two nights at the lodge.
The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are neat (though there was no toilet brush) and have got its own television.
The kitchen also has a sitting area to relax, a dinning and its own television, all basic cooking utensils are available.
Most importantly the gentle man in charge was reachable, responsive and respectful.
If I were to visit Kings Lynn again I'll definitely lodge here."

"Beautiful and quirky house. Loved the privacy. Exactly as described online. If in the area again I would certainly be interested in booking there again! "
"A hotel with so much character, which has been modernised to provide a great experience. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Great range of breakfast and dinner menu supported by a wide range of drinks. 100% recommend this hotel if you decide to visit Norfolk. "
Pilgrims Cottage - Cosy period flint cottage with open fire
8/10 Good
"Comfortable and spacious accommodation, met our needs as a base from which to explore the north and west Norfolk coasts. Nice house. Lovely sunsets across the road from the living room window."
"Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop"
"This is a lovely property let down by general maintenance. Pro’s; Plentiful hot water, very comfy beds, good quality linens and towels, quick wi-fi, well equipped kitchen, comfy seating, location to areas of interest, well stocked local shop.Con’s; Situated on a very busy road and junction, stairs to attic bedroom a lot steeper and narrower than anticipated from the description, the skylight blinds didn’t close, no locks on bathroom doors, very wobbly toilet seats and taps, kitchen window handle broken, no parking, the outside of the property was very untidy with some very big weeds and dirty windows and paintwork, the front door latch didn’t engage properly and required some attention. Also to note that was that the Rooks were nesting in the trees opposite and were very active at around 9pm and 4.30am! We appreciate that this is nature and didn’t cause us an issue but if you were trying to settle younger children it would be something to consider."
The Old Chapel - Stylishly restored old chapel with a luxurious finish
10/10 Excellent
"The accommodation is fabulous. It’s a quirky, well appointed space on three levels which is light and bright due to the fabulous windows. The kitchen is very modern with great appliances and the living area is super comfy. The upper gallery area and bedroom with en suite is spectacular .The subterranean bedroom and en suite is super with some natural light and both bedrooms have very comfortable beds. The heating was very efficient and as our stay was in February very welcome There were also some nice little touches like tea and coffee in the canisters and foil and film in the kitchen drawerWe had a great five days exploring North Norfolk andI would certainly recommend The Old Chapel and would certainly choose to stay there again in the future.."
