"Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!"

The location of the hotel however it is in the jungle area so walking distance to the centre of town can be tricky. Also, they didn’t have the bicycles on hand so we had to take taxis. "The place absolutely amazing, we had an amazing stay, we stayed in 2 types of rooms, the lowest category and the highest catergory and we can tell both rooms were comfortable and amazing.
We upgraded because we wanted to be oceanfront and it was AMAZING .
Service was extremely good and all super friendly. We had dinner and food was super good and portions are generous.i think my only advice is that breakfasts can be a bit better but again it was super good.
Thank you for all the staff that made 1000% effort to make our stay memorable.
