First time for us in Holbox, and AWA is a nice boutique place. The hotel is located by Punta Coco, in front of the beach, with nice rooms, a superb breakfast, and a great warm atmosphere. In our opinion, the best option to stay in that section of the island. Holbox is a place to relax and unwind — downtown has a small, charming local market, but also plenty of unexpectedly great dining options."

The beach was waiting for us just a small few steps away and it was perfect. Picturesque, idyllic, pure relaxation and beautiful. The staff was top notch, Edel and Erick both were more than impressive with their constant attention to detail and represented the Hotel in the best way. We had a small issue that was handled professionally and left my traveling group more than happy. I don't post reviews often, but the staff made our experience so good I have to recommend them and AWA as as strong choice for your place to stay in Holbox. I would definitely go back.

Very cool rooms and pool, DJ's on some nights, beautiful decoration, amazing views with its own beach... great for lounging all day with great drinks and great food. The staff gets to know you by name. Note that the beach is very small (but to us that didn't matter). Staff was awsome! Hotel is hot in the middle of town so noise level was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Awa. Check-in was seamless, and the room was well equipped with beautiful sea views. The food was consistently good, and the staff at the various restaurants were especially friendly and attentive. The lobster pizza is highly recommended—in fact, when speaking with people staying at other hotels, several mentioned that Awa has the best pizza on the island. We spent much of our time exploring beaches away from the hotel and therefore didn’t use the pool, but overall the stay was very enjoyable.

Our room was beautiful! We could see the pool and a little of the beach and ocean. We had a rooftop terrace that we enjoyed relaxing in. The staff were all AMAZING! Everyone was very attentive, helpful, genuine, and happy. We especially loved the servers on the beach. Julietta was just the sweetest and always made us feel special. The food at the restaurant was also phenomenal. On the days we didn't feel like going far, we were perfectly content eating at the resort. We will definitely go back!

The staff is amazing. They are always willing to help and very proficient. The hotel has many good features - the beach is nice and the pool is interesting. The layout is very compact so you hear pool noise during the day and the music from the restaurant/bar at night. I was sick and in bed early so I heard it. I think it goes off at a reasonable hour. The restaurant was good but not great. The location is far from town. That can be a plus or a minus.

Very excellent customer service from Miguel. The room was amazing, the pictures did it no justice. Didn’t get to try the restaurants at the hotel but the vibe from the dj and music from my room was nice
