"Old school Key West motel, with a nice pool and comfortable, clean rooms. Our room was spotless, and kept clean every day. Free coffee every morning at the outdoor Tiki Hut by the water, and a handy microwave and refrigerator in the room. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. By the end of the week, we felt like family! Parking was assigned per room, and was easy and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and would absolutely return. "

"This resort is a solid 3 star. Check-in is definitely 4 pm or later. No rooms were ready any earlier. Rooms were updated, except for the TV's which were small and dated. (this is my husbands complaint) Clean, however no daily room cleaning unless you ask. I did request our sheets to be changed but the bed was only made, not changed. The bedroom air conditioner blows directly on the right side of the bed, so this took some adjusting in the middle of the night, thus the request for clean sheets. Breakfast was tasty but limited, scrambled eggs or hard boiled, bacon and waffles. Bread, English muffins. Coffee, juice and whole fruit available. I wish there had been some muffins or danish for those with a morning sweet tooth. We never ordered lunch but I did see quite large portions served, mostly leaning Greek. All look good. The pool was nice, typical lounge grab in the mornings. Nice, large new umbrellas. Live music some afternoons. Everyone in the pool made for some murky water, but everyone seemed happy. Lots of boat talk. Overall a positive stay for us"

"I was extremely disappointed with the Hammerhead floating cabin. It looked nothing like the photos. The listing shows a bright, clean, fresh space with clear windows, but in reality the walls and ceiling were in rough condition and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was a major issue. There was a large fish hook left on the decking that could have injured my dog or me. Trash was stuffed in the patio table umbrella hole, a beer cap was left on the deck, crumbs were around the toaster, residue was smeared on the countertops, and dirt was on the floor. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out. The setup was uncomfortable and poorly arranged. The dining table sat directly next to the window AC unit, making it loud with cold air blowing on us. You couldn’t properly face the TV from the table, and from the couch you had to turn your head sideways. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and worn. There was no hot water in the shower. In the bedroom, cords were shoved beside the nightstand, which could be a safety issue for kids. A note asking for a cleaning tip $$ which felt inappropriate given the condition. It also wasn’t disclosed that someone would enter Thursday morning to service the toilet, what an inconvenience. The “view” was mostly a rusted boat and gas can. Overall, it was a major letdown. Maybe, the other floating cabins were maintained better???? "
