our stay overall was good but we we were disappointed with the condition of the cabin. we had issues with the master bedroom light not working, a tear in the wicker daybed that made it unable to be used, the dishwasher backed up and overflowed onto the countertop which made it unusable. the double door leading to the backyard also didn't lock. these are issues that definitely had a negative impact on our stay but that said the location was great and we were still able to make the most of our time there. i would still consider booking through cool cabins again in the future but would NOT stay at avalon retreat again
