"What a wonderful property and host! We wanted a “mountain cabin” experience with long range Mountain View’s and got exactly that: clean very comfortable cabin with spectacular views. The host is very responsive and helpful and promptly answered all our questions, not just with regard to the cabin, but the Wolf Laurel area and the whole NW NC mountain area in general. I’d stay at this location again in a minute. Like many properties in Wolf Laurel, the properties are pretty steep. We were in a standard rental car and were able to negotiate the roads and this particular driveway without any issues. But our visit was in the middle of the summer. If I were to come back to Wolf Laurel in the winter I will rent an SUV and AWD. That pertains to the whole community moreso than this particular property. Wonderful trip!"

"Our family of four and two small dogs had a wonderful visit! We loved using the community pool, hiking on the nearby trails (breathtaking views), using the fire pit, and hanging out watching movies when it rained. The cabin was spotless, had all the cooking materials/appliances we could possibly need, and was located within 30 minutes of several towns to explore. Tess is a very attentive and informative host. We definitely recommend this place!"

"Lovely yurt style cabin in the woods! We really enjoyed our stay at Wolf Laurel Country Club. The house is very cozy, stocked with the necessities and Its location is tucked away amongst the trees which gives you quite a bit of privacy. The Hot Tub is a Softub, which is different than a regular hot tub but, in my opinion, way better! Since it was warm when we stayed we didn't have an opportunity to use the fireplace but definitely will if we stay at the place again in the cooler months. Overall, it's a place that I would stay at again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others as well."

"This property was great! The only issues we had was the light on the stairs was out, and the shower in the bathroom upstairs was not functioning properly. Also, we could not lock the front door when we left. All small issues that did not affect our stay! I would recommend some printed directions on how to get to the west gate. Service is spotty on this mountain and one wrong turn could leave you lost on back mountain roads for good while until you find service again."

"The house was nice and the view was beautiful. The gas fireplace didn't work and the hot tub was dirty. I reached out about them and was told maintenance team would be by to take care of them. No one ever showed up so we couldn't use either of them during our week stay. It was cold and both would have been nice amenities. "
