The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"A truly wonderful renovation of a former foundry awaits you in this beautifully designed hotel
It’s all new, room is small but thoughtfully laid out.
Bathroom with walk in shower was large and had great water pressure, plenty of closet space and large windows . Just great!"
"The entire staff was very accommodating. Valet parking was streamline and efficient. Hotel lobby lounge had a nice selection of bourbons. We enjoyed our stay."
"The hotel is well located to walk to activities in central Ashevillle. Good parking. Good breakfast. Needs updating but served well for a short visit to Asheville."
"We loved this little cottage, which was conveniently located near a lot of things. Nothing was in walking distance - but everything was a short drive away. Unfortunately, it is right next to a highway - so it's a little noisy when you're outside (but not a problem from the inside). Also, there is no central AC, so we were really glad we were there in April and not August! There is a small window AC unit in the bathroom, but there's no way it would keep the bedroom cool during the summer. The woman who checked us in was nice/friendly. I love that the units are pet friendly, even though we ended up not bringing our dog on this trip - there was even a dog food bowl and treats in the kitchen. It would be really nice to stay at this location with a group of people - each in their own cottage, but on the same property. It was also great that there was a full kitchen available to us. The bathroom had a blow dryer and the closet came with an iron and full ironing board. We stayed in Room 9, which was in the back and up a hill (tucked away from the rest of the property)."
