"Excellent hotel. Cheaper than Filton Premier inn but far superior in every way. Comfortable room and bed, great shower. Friendly welcome and all staff seemed to enjoy working there, or at least were highly professional. Excellent overall."

"The building and grounds is steeped in history and is absolutely beautiful. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful in so many ways I can't even begin to tell you as there wouldn't be enough room here! We were upgraded as it was my husbands 40th birthday, which was a lovely surprise, and there was a birthday card and big bar of chocolate waiting in our room (which had premium brands of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits etc etc). We had the pool and sauna etc to ourselves on the first use and was quiet on the second and was a really lovely way to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds. Dinner in the main restaurant and atrium bar was delicious (dined in restaurant twice and atrium once). A thoroughly enjoyable break and birthday celebration for my husband who was blown away by the whole thing (it was kept a secret til the moment we pulled up, which certainly gave the wow factor I had hoped for!)"
