You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows. Room was good though there were some minor finishing touches.

Evi's Home 25 - 27 October
We had a fabulous time at Evi's Home. From the moment Evi greeted us and showed us to our apartment to the moment we left, we had a lovely stay in Bern. Evi couldn't have been more welcoming and is clearly proud of her city, taking her time to recommend things to do and see during our stay.

Yuk…a bad part of town, old building. They really tried to put techie things in the rooms but change the hall carpets

Hi Monica, the Bern Wankdorf is maybe the moste expensive part of Bern. But it's a business part. And we have no carpets on the halls ;-)

Modern and convenient
Talk about comfort and conveniences! This apartment had all of the latest technology gadgets, was conveniently located to public transportation and a helpful and friendly host that introduced us to it.

City tax collected at the property was bit too expensive and also have to change 2 buses to get to the hotel from neufeld bus centre. Had a good use of the kitchen utensils and the stove top.

The property is an old industrial building by the railway tracks that is being converted to a hotel. Listing claims air conditioning and there is none. Host were great.

Dear Norman, we have in all studios a comfort air solution that is much more efficient then a normal AC and cost also a lot more.But you has hat one of the 10 days that this is not the best solution. the other 350 days are perfect.

Dear Guanglei,the 36 Bus go every 15min but only MO-FRThe 20 Bus and the 27 Bus are 3 min away. and the Wankdorf train Station with all connections 6 minutes away.

A great find
A fantastic apartment in a lovely part of Bern which was well connected to the city due to an impressive network system. If self catering the kitchen is basically stocked but it was copable and we would definitely stop here again. Thank you!

Big draw back of this property is NO Air Conditioning in 90 degree temp.and owner of the property said we don't need air conditioning system and also very poor room service i stayed at this property for 6 days with family feel extremely uncomfortable.

Dear Muhammad, the best is that you communicate on your stay when you have any problem. After a stay we can nothing more do for you.here the wetter in Bern for July 23https://www.meteoprog.com/de/weather/Bern/month/july/we has had no day higher then 26C in the day and no night higher then 15So as we are a 0 energy building we don't waste engergy for nothing with useless AC. You are maybe used to have 19 in the rooms.This is with the comfort Air System 180 from Zehnder also possibele in the night. In the day time the temp in the rooms go nearly to the outside.Have a good trip and all the best for you.

If you’re not used to city living and the noises that come with it - you may find it hard to sleep with the windows open. Only thing missing in the room was washcloths. Overall rating on room and our stay 5 stars. Recommend for the price and location.

Decent place but tech gone too far
Decent place which is well connected by tram to the centre of town. However, kitchen and everything in it was pretty grubby. On our last night, most of thee tech stopped working and we had to sleep with the bathroom lights on. Thankfully we found the master switch to turn the bedframe light off but it meant we couldn't charge our devices.

The host was very nice and friendly. The apartment was modern, clean, and quiet and had everything we needed. The bus stop is right in front of the building, which made it really easy to get to the Altstadt and the main train station (M-F). On weekends, the other bus stop is a short walk away. We really appreciated having a fan on hot days. We would definitely stay there again.

Very modern apartment, but it seemed unfinished - missing the door frame, missing half of the curtain, missing the baseboard, etc. The kitchen cabinet was awesome with everything we need, including a coffee maker, hot water for tea, etc. Another renter told us not to use the washing machine, not sure (due to the language barrier) because the machine didn't work or was too noisy because it was next to her apartment.

It is a good place to stay with family and explore Switzerland using train(car). You need only 7 mins to get to the Bern Hauptbahnhof by bus which runs every 4 minutes. Flavio, the manager, is very friendly and willingly answered on all our questions. This place was recently renovated and has equipped with new kitchen and bathroom appliances..

The host Ajdin was very helpful and friendly. The room was pretty modern and cozy. There is a parking garage but it is a bit narrow for bigger vehicles. Also there is street parking. if you dont have Twint or CHF coins, you can use Easy park app. overall it was a pleasant stay! ☺️

I hope you like trains
I would highly recommend bringing sleeping earplugs or buy them in the city like I did. The trains are running constantly and makes a lot of sound. The room is getting hot with the windows closed even with the small portable aircon running (we were there in late September). The room itself was nice and clean when we checked in but during our stay there was no cleaning or anything. We saw cleaning personnel in the building, but no one came to our room. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen solution smart and it was even a modern toilet that could clean and dry you after you had done your business. And with google translate we could figure out the Chinese instructions on some of the gadgets.
