"We enjoyed our stay at the Melrose Mansion. We found a “period” property, that had about 14 rooms, located one block from the end of Bourbon Street. We felt safe walking to and from the property, and there were several restaurants within 1 or 2 blocks. The room was clean, quiet and a nice place to retreat. Though we didn’t use the pool, it looked inviting. I would stay here again."

"Overall I would highly recommend this establishment the only comment against them I can make was I had to ask maids for more towels and toiletries as the entire building was booked for Mardi Gras and while many stayed only a day or two keeping maids busy I was there a week great staff great hospitality great breakfast with nice rooftop bar really a memorable experience!!"
