Hotel Centro Mar

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The first night we couldn't switch the heating on and it was a bit cold, but it got fixed straight away when we told the reception. The location of the hotel is really nice and the views from the roof terrace are beautiful.

Great little hotel

Stayed for 4 nights! Lovely little hotel! Great position in the old town, shops restaurants all on your doorstep, very close to the beach, rooftop pool was beautiful with fantastic view’s!, slightly annoyed I wasn’t aloud to have a drink of my juice at the pool which I brought with me from the shops, had to purchase drinks from the pool bar only! All the rest of the staff in the hotel were fantastic! Couldn’t do enough for you! Always happy to see you with a big smile on there face! Especially Lewis on reception! Will book again next year! :-)

Great Location in the old town,very clean, friendly staff, great wifi, nice rooftop pool with sea view. BUT appalling food choice for vegetarians, even though I notified then in advance I was offered a plate of vegetables or just potato’s as my main meal

Nestled in the Old Town...

What a wonderful start to our holiday the hotel gave us. The rooftop pool was amazing with great views of Benidorm. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be much better - the locality is very Spanish with lots of Tapas restaurants. It is right in the old town so the streets have lots of character.

Great budget hotel, centrally located in the Old Town

For a 3 star hotel, and for the price, you get all you can expect - and more :-) The only negative was that very few staff spoke much English - which is not uncommon in Spain, even in this business - and the reason I only give 3 stars for Hotel Service. Otherwise, they deserve 4 stars for Service as, they were always helpful and polite and the rooms were kept clean and tidy.

good location

Really good location if its not summer. As its situated in one of the tiny streets its pretty noisy, as it was April the evenings were still quite chiily so I didnt need to keep the windows open. I should think youd never get to sleep in the summertime with the windows open, although I did notice an air conditioning unit.

Utmärkt läge

Hotellet ligger utmärkt till i Benidorm. Mellan de bägge stränderna ute på udden som delar dessa två. Mycket restauranger och barer runt om för dem som gillar det och max 3 minuter till stranden. Var där över påsken 2014 och då firar spanjorerna ordentligt, både kyrkligt och vid barerna. Men inget som egentligen störde. Allmänt trevligt. Hotellet liksom rummet lite slitet, hyfsat rent. Dock var väl sängen lite väl hård för mig. Inte första valet nästa gång, men inte heller det sista.

Immerse yourself in real spanish culture

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Superb sea views from rooms but it is mainly for spanish visitors. There was nothing written in English anywhere and all the meals were typically spanish. The location is excellent for 'younger' couples but for elderly the hotel is difficult to access as it is uphill and airport transfers drop off a good distance away from the hotel making dragging your suitcases very hard work! Not for those with walking difficulties.

Not for People with limited Mobility...

The Hotel is well located in Benidorm Old Town right next to all bars and restaurants and not far to the beach. It is clean but just clean and modern. Staff hardly able to speak English but helpful though...not so much the case of the restaurant staff...no English at all....rude, unhelpful, miserable faces, and ignoring all non Spanish Guests...the Hotel mostly caters mostly for its Spanish clientele...Spanish seniors, old couples and/or families alike on group visits to Benidorm. The room I had was dark, smelly and unpleasant. There are no other TV Channels than the Spanish ones. The guests there are really rude and had no manners when queuing for food in the restaurant, or for using the lift or when querying at the reception...they pass you and do things as if you are not there...????It is probably a nice place for the Spanish Guests to enjoy but not for any other guests especially if you have limited mobility or a disability: the hotel is on a rather steep hill....very inconvenient ...I had to change hotels after 2 nights there ... Beware also Extra Costs....Internet 15mns/1 Euro...? And no WIFI at all....whether in room or in the lounge area...!

Centro Mar - midt i gamlebyen

Vårt oppholod var meget bra. Betjeningen på hotellet framsto veldig høflige og hjelpsomme. Rommene var godt renholdt.Beliggenheten till hotellet er jo veldig bra, - midt inne i gamlebyen, med svært korte gangavstander til strender og shoppingområder. Her får en mye for pengene.
