"The location was great. The staff were helpful. I couldn't enjoy the breakfast because it didn't open early enough. 7:30 was too late. The only negative was that my room had an unpleasant odour."

The beautifully appointed room with a view of the river, the courtyard, restaurant space with delicious morning breakfast, snacks and access to coffee and tea and water all day were absolute highlights for my stay. The street noise can be an issue especially during the day, but that seems to be a reflection of the busy location and central to all the beautiful vistas in Alfama. Loved my solo stay at the hotel and would return again!"
