"We enjoyed the convenient location with car park a short distance away. The breakfast was lovely with a variety of entrees. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our double room was small. However the pillows & mattress were rather uncomfortable with a musty smell to the room."

"We loved our stay at Landgate House and think the photos don't do it justice and it's nicer in real life. We had a gorgeous sunny weekend and the views from the dining room / breakfast room are to die for! This was the absolute perfect house for a cross generation family gather with grand parents having a room on the ground floor with no stairs to navigate, the teens upstairs in the loft space and the rest of the family downstairs. We have a fabulous time and contrary to some reviews which made us hesitate when booking, the house was spotless! The only little bit of feedback is maybe about the electric hob that is extremely slow to heat up and cook so morning pancake making was a longer process than usual. Maybe consider upgrading it for the future."

"The hotel was very good, staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good in both days. Our evening meal on Saturday evening was excellent. On the Sunday morning, we had drinks in the hotel garden which were brought to us by bar staff. The only negative thing was that I had booked a small double room and small it was. So really that was an error on my part so I would definitely book this hotel again, but booking a larger room with a larger double bed. All in all a great place to stay, thank you to all the staff that made it that way."

"We had booked three rooms out for ourselves and other family members. The property is in a brilliant location. There is no onsite service parking but free parking outside the front of the property. The entry instructions given were clear. All of the rooms had everything that you need in there. They are not very big rooms but big enough if only used to sleep in which is what we used it for. There was a well stocked welcome basket in each room which was a lovely touch which contained sweets, crisps, biscuits and bottled water. There are shops within walking distance of there is more that you need. We would happily stay here again"

"The house is beautiful, and although it's old, it's perfectly restored, with many thoughtful details and very well decorated. The beds are very comfortable, and it has everything you need. It was very clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent for exploring other towns in the area. The town itself is charming. The only downside is a very steep staircase, which wasn't a problem for us, but it's something to be aware of. I would definitely return."

"A gorgeous cottage, perfectly positioned for our Cotswold stay with EVERYTHING you could possibly wish for. Hosts were exceptional at communicating, a lovely welcome package was a nice touch, beds super comfy with nice bedding, I soaked in the freestanding bath every night, we lit a fire on more than one occasion and sat out in the garden. Wonderful views and a short walk to the local shop and cafe, and opposite a pub! What more could you wish for?!We’ll be back!"

"The only reason I am not rating excellent is the laundry machine is wash only. Worked out for me as I had time to air dry. The location is fantastic if you use the train. Easy in and out. Great stay."
