"Overall great location and drinks and food were great. Liked the breakfast options.
Only problem was being on top of an active and popular pub meant noise from the bar till the early hours."

"Charming historic hotel. They’ve done a great job of taking historic spaces (in our case, stables) and turned them into comfortable, modern spaces while retaining the charm of the old spaces. "
"Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. It was an easy walk to & from the train station.
At first, my husvand & I were afraid it wasn't for us because on our first day, we found it difficult to navigate the narrow hallways, mutiple fire doors & several sets of stairs with our suitcases in order to get to our room on the 2nd floor (equivalent to the 3rd fl. in the US). The elevator only goes to 1st floor. However, we did get the hang of it soon enough & found that the hotel made up for those issues in other ways. Big plus is that our room was very elegant with an old world feel, but still comfortable and had a modern bathroom. We slept very well all 3 nights that we stayed there as it was quiet in the room and the bed & beddings were very comfy.
Next plus is that breakfast was included and that was very convenient gor us since we were able to have breakfast before our day tours. We had breakfast every day in the glass covered patio overlooking the beautiful garden. It was quite relaxing.
We also received excellent service from the polite & friendly staff at reception, breakfast service, and from the cleaning staff. All these are reasons to make us want to stay at this hotel again when we return to the Cotswolds."

8/10 Good
"Fabulous house. Central location for exploring the Cotswolds. It was very clean. The kitchen utensils were adequate but would have benefited with a corkscrew, extra crockery and a clothes drying rack/airer. It was confusing having more than one booking app. "
"Really appreciated my stay. The hotel was in a very cute part of town, and the staff was very night and helpful. The rooms were small, but I didn’t mind for the price. "
