"Great place to stay!
Everything was very clean. I will say I was more than happy with the room I got. The room had a stove, big refrigerator and the best part...a big bathroom with a spacious shower.
The employees were very friendly and helpful.
There were a lot of dinner options within walking distance.
Highly recommend this hotel. Even if its just for one night. "

"Our room was huge!! The water park area was nice, staff was friendly and helpful, and being next door to the gondolas to the mountain top amusement park was a big plus! "

"We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Grand Hyatt Vail. It was their low season, so not as chaotic and hectic (which we like), but still plenty to do like hiking, biking or simply having a lazy walk along the Gore Creek trails. One can do as much as they want, or simply nothing at all and enjoy the surrounding. The property is well kept, clean and plenty of space to roam around. We tried a couple of restaurants, Gessner Steakhouse & Makoto, both having outstanding & delicious fares. Highly recommend the resort, and if possible, book the room with balcony overlooking the mountain and creek."

"Basalt is a charming, out of the way area. Simply splendid! Front desk super friendly, breakfast plenty, room was roomy, & the heated, 21st century toilet was an added pleasure! Highly recommend. "
