Good Barcelona hotel option

We were in Barcelona for the weekend so the hotel was a bit pricier than we expected, but the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the neighborhood conveniently located for transportation. We’d stay there again.

The photos made this hotel look much nicer than it was in person – in reality, it was not very well maintained. The staff were friendly and the room was mostly clean and comfortable over our four night stay, but for the price, it just wasn't as nice as expected (maybe everywhere in Barcelona is expensive?). If I return to Barcelona, I will likely seek out a different hotel.

Great Choice!

The office staff were super friendly and most helpful! The motel is also convenient to metro and restaurants and sights of the city! Beds were super comfortable and the daily housekeeping was awesome! We certainly will stay again and highly recommend.

This was our third time staying at this hotel, which we chose due to its good location (just a short walk to a metro station, train station that connects to the airport, and a tram stop that served the Forum venue for the Primavera festival). The rooms are a decent size, with a nice bathroom including a big bath and a bidet, while the bed is large and comfortable. The pool on the roof is lovely and rarely crowded, and the view is nice as you can see Torre Glories and the Sagrada Familia. There is a nice sandwich and pizza place a few doors down called The Catalan Sandwich, and there are a number of small convenience stores and restaurants in the surrounding area. The only drawbacks were very very minor (we struggled to work our TV remote, the bath plug seemed to leak water, and the maids could be quite noisy if you were sleeping in) but these were not big problems and did not affect our stay.

The hotel was quiet and clean. Not many people stated, the pool is much smaller than what their pictures show. The water temperature and pressure was great in the showers. The bed was comfortable. The one thing that I would have to say is that I found it more expensive than what it should’ve been in my opinion. I think they should charge a little less given the amenities and location they offer. Another thing to keep in mind. Is that for some reason Most taxi cabs bring you to the hotel slightly down the block rather than in front of this one. Must be something with the GPS setting, I don’t know.

Great but no working a/c

The hotel was very clean and nice, especially for the price. Bathroom was fantastic and modern. However, the air conditioning was not working and it was extremely hot. We had felt the lack of air conditioning upon arrival and had asked if the rooms were okay before checking but assured they were even though it was clearly not working.
