Hotel location great

Great location for tourist visit to Barcelona. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about surrounding area. Short walk to the Rambla street which is full of restaurants and shopping. A very close plaza which allows access to hop on hop off busses for touring.

It looks like it's being remodeled. During the day, it's very noisy with the sound of room construction. A bug came around, complained to the front desk and sprayed him with insecticide. I stayed up all night with open eyes because of bugs. The location is great. The staff is generally kind, too.

Initially the girl at th front desk put me in a small room without a view, however the shower head broke so Caleb at reception put me in a modern suite. Needless to say my stay was much more comfortable. The staff adjusted my air con as it was too high and cold for my liking. The pool was great as well. I could manage a few laps each way.

Solid Choice

Clean and in nice condition. Wonderful sound deadening windows, appreciated when on 1st floor of busy street. However, lots of noise from interior, including lobby noise, people on and off elevators, etc, so we would have liked a better sound insulated interior door! But, overall, a very nice stay, helpful front desk, good housekeeping, and a fantastic location if you use public transport to get around Barcelona.
