Close enough to beach and central to bus and tube lines

The hotel is average at best, while there’s nothing to brag about there are things to complain about. When I arrived with my partner we realised the plug hole in our sink was blocked so the sink couldn’t let water out, we called the help desk and let them know asking if they could send someone to fix it for us which we were told the handyman isn’t here for the next couple of days. We were told however that they will move us rooms in the morning, so with this in mind my partner and I packed up our bags for the room change. When the morning came and we called asking when we’d be able to move we were answered by a woman who was unbelievably rude and patronising and who blatantly refused to help saying things like “why do you want to move because of the sink” “who told you to pack your bags” “no you can’t change room there’s no other rooms available” bearing in mind we were just explaining to her what one of her colleagues had told us just the night before. In the end it turned out the handy man was working and he cane to sort the sink out which took all of an hour and a half in which my partner and I had to sit in the room waiting for him to finish. We also chose to have breakfast included in our stay and the breakfast is absolutely nothing special, definitely not worth the extra money. While the hotel is 15minutes away from the beach the surrounding area leaves much to be desired! It is located in what I can only think of as a dodgy part of Barcelona with no good shops or bars
