It's up three levels, 73 steps, and seemed a little over-priced for a single with a shared bathroom and shower in a less busy section of the gothic quarter, still with some light noise from people late into the evening from the open square below.

Rooms are far too hot

I would not recommend a stay here during the summer. The ceiling fans in the room do nothing to cool them down. The rooms are tiny, not even enough room for two people to stand up at one time and the heat is unbearable. You can’t even open the window because outside is so noisy - club music playing loudly till 7:30am. During our stay several people checked out early because of the heat of the rooms.

La habitación y el baño muy buenos y limpios y las personas que trabajan aí son muy agradables. El hostal está cerca de la Plaza Cataluña y la estació Liceu. Recomiendo.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, verlässt man die Haustür steht man mitten im Barrio Gótico. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und jedes Zimmer wird jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

El lugar es pequeño, no hay baños privados y subes como 6 pisos sin elevador al menos para llegar al hostal, no me pude quedar en el lugar, aunque supongo que al final es mi responsabilidad, la relación costo beneficio no es mala, si estas en un presupuesto muy justo y vas soltero, pienso que el lugar no es tan malo, pero si, no acomodo mis necesidades

Alles gut

Personal war sehr nett. Zimmer waren zwar nicht so groß aber dafür sauber, weil diese jeden Tag gereinigt wurden. Die Sauberkeit im Badezimmer lässt dagegen zu Wünschen übrig. Jedoch für einen Kurztrip, wo man sowieso mehr Zeit auswärts verbringt als im Hotel mehr als ausreihend.

Highly recommended!

This place is a hit! Central location (including less than 5min walk to the nearest metro station), super clean, really kind staff and really comfortable. Just take into account that there is no lift and it is located on a third floor, but definitely an excellent choice!

The hostel is located close to La Rambla where all the action is. Within walking distance from metro stations. Only caveat was that it’s located on third floor with no elevators; so you need to carry your luggage yourself through the narrow staircase all the way to the Third floor. Travel light and enjoy.

I would never stay in this accommodation no matter

It’s extremely uncomfortable with only 2 toilets and showers when It’s got 11 rooms in it. What’s even worse is that there’s no lift and it’s on the 4th floor. (5th when you’re from America or Asia) When you’re tired from all the journey and want to have a good night sleep, you’ll be able to hear who comes in and goes out when. The door itself makes a thud sound every time you close the door. It’s the same to the other rooms which means you’ll hear the slamming door sound all the time.

Perfectly good place for the money

The place was perfectly functional and clean. The walls are really thin, though, so if your neighbors are quiet, you'll have a great time here. If they aren't, you won't. That's out of the hotel's control, though.

The location was okay and the cleaning lady was great...the reception lady was sweet. But just the place itself was not to liking and the shared bathroom with no ac was very low quality compared to other stays during the same trip.

They turn the air-conditioning off at night. It’s really hot and they will give you a fan but the fan is weak. Also they have a menu for beverages that you can buy, but they don’t have any beverages on site. It’s also a four-story climb to get to the hotel, so if you’re caring bags be prepared for a very hot and sweaty workout
