"The host of this property and BNB services took my payment and then canceled my reservation and didn’t tell me. When I arrived to check in, I had nothing. Luckily the hotel had room but I had to pay for it. I could not get a hold of the host. BNB services finally called me and said the host stopped paying the resort so all his reservations got canceled. This happened with 3 other families that we were traveling with that also used BNB services. I hit a hold of VRBO and they refunded my money. "

"We were not allowed to cancel individual days before the cancelation date due to "resort availability". When asked for clarification, the availabilty issue preventing is from canceling was because the resort was full. Their policy does state that modification are subject to resort availability, but it is unreasonable that the resort being full makes sense to not cancel days prior to the cancel date. This should be made more clear in the rental agreement.VRBO itself was helpful, seemed to agree...
