It was cheap because it backed onto the depot and stabling tracks for the BTS, so there was plenty of activity as they parked around midnight and mobilised around 5am, but I knew this as I used to work there plus the sound was quite well insulated.
The bathroom and room size (5F) were good as was the lift. Free hot and cold water machine down the corridor. Convenient little minimart in next block for snacks and a nightcap, but no fridge in room, so for immediate consumption only.
Wifi was poor, would hardly ever connect. TV only local channels in Thai. Bed quite thin and uncomfortable. I got bitten every night, I presume by mosquitoes although I never caught any. Aircon good but noisy and dripped water on the floor. It was a basic hotel, with some hostel rooms, no drinks or food supplied or on sale, staff a bit disinterested, but OK for my purpose as I was not on expenses and it was near where I wanted to be. Mostly students as guests.
