We called this motel the one that you could walk in without motel or shower shoes. We were super impressed by the cleanliness and the furnishings in the motel. There are so many other motels that just have drab, dated decor with ancient bathrooms with years of mould ground into the silicon with carpets you stick too. It was so refreshing to stay in a place where you felt care and customer service. As others said the sheets and mattress were super comfortable too. Thank you.

For budget accommodation this property is great. Has a pool great rec area and on site coffee van. Highly recommend for an overnight stay.

First stay here and i liked the motel. It would have been flooded a little while ago and it has been updated and renovated. Outside entrance was a little coffee van.

Unique little refurbished motel with a twist! Lovely short stay here. Only thing was we arrived after hours on Friday, left on Saturday and there was no ironing board in the room - and no reception staff to ask for one. Other than that, it was great!

Beautiful & well kept room in an average location
Room was lovely. This is a well kept motel in a strip of motels with not much else around. I can not fault the motel, the room was great, but the photos are definitely strategic to not show/emphasize the fact it’s a motel in an average area. One there I thought I would not have paid what I paid to stay here had I understood the area.

Newly renovated rooms & very clean!
Great renovation , cool California vibe decor , very clean standard motel size rooms, comfy bed & pillows fresh as new. Friendly staff, easy covered parking, located on a busy road so the traffic noise may not be ideal for light sleepers byo earplugs. 8/10.

Clean, well managed, excellent staff and customer service. Has great facilities with a community kitchen, laundry and barbecue area for longer stays. The room is fresh and brightly decked out with good appliances and everything you would need. There’s even bikes to hire with great bike paths around the beautiful beaches. It’s a gem of a place!

Property presentation is nice. The place is located directly on the road with incoming traffic to Ballina. Not sound proofed, therefore extremely loud. Also had several large cockroaches wandering into the room from underneath the door.

Hi WolfgangBeing the start of the Australia day long weekend we had more traffic on the roads than usual. The property is regularly sprayed and was recently fumigated.

A great location for a pit stop on our way to the Gold Coast. Ballina was fairly quiet , however there was lots of place to eat near by and walkable from the motel. We loved the retro decor and fairly spacious rooms. The bathrooms were a little cosy, but very adequate. We all enjoyed the pool and loungers also. I’d definitely recommend it

Property has been fully renovated.Fun colourful decor,everything fresh,new and clean .Great outdoor area in garden and around the pool topped off by a quaint little coffee van selling terrific coffee each morning just outside the motel.Helpful staff, excellent value.
