"Great spacious junior suite "

"Good value (we only paid £50 for a double room). Good for a 1 night stay. Bathroom was nice and modern. No frills hotel for those on a budget. Bed was very firm (too firm for me). We brought our own pillows as I had read reviews before staying and knew they would only supply two pillows. I was also expecting the double bed to be against the wall and we used this to our advantage for watching tv, which was at a right-angle to the bed, by leaning against the side wall to watch it straight on. Not much interaction with staff who had trouble explaining the price of the pool table. Don’t expect anyone to ask how your stay was on the way out! "

"Nice hotel but wildly overpriced - £177 for a night in a very basic room, with a rather uncomfortable bed, no ironing board and a pretty useless TV. Also, what’s with the need to type in a code to get into your room every time - seems a bit like a cheap out move compared to every other hotel where you just tap a room card - £177 A NIGHT!! Good breakfast, albeit with cheap ingredients, but the shower was exceptional. But not really worth the money - I felt ripped off."

"room was not cleaned. The bed was left dirty from the previous occupant, a sanitary wrapper was on the bed, toilet was soiled, wet towels on the bed, dirty drinks cups. No room change could be offered, I requested refund which I was told needed to come from Expedia. I have now emailed Expedia 3 times and await their verdict on whether they will refund my money. "

A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. "The staff need more training they don’t know how to interact with customers. It would be good if they smiled sometimes as well! It felt like we were an inconvenience. This applies to the reception person and the breakfast staff. "
