"This was a lovely place to stay on the Pacific coast. Ocotal beach is a 5 minute walk from the condo, and we enjoyed walking, swimming & tide pool exploring daily. The welcome instructions were clear & communication with the property concierge was easy and response time was very quick. The condo was comfortable & well-stocked with necessary items for a beach vacation. We took a snorkeling/exploring boat trip one day and it was easy to arrange pickup at Ocotal beach. Father Rooster's restaurant was a good choice for dinner on the ocean with live music & great food/drink. We would definitely recommend this rental to family & friends. Thanks so much for a great family stay."

"The property and villa was beautiful. Quite property. The villa was updated and spacious with beautiful views. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Ourdoor patio and balcony had comfortable furniture to enjoy the scenery/nature. One of our favorite memories was getting madsages on our balcony during sunset. Easy booking through the resort for all activities and massages. The secluded beach has beautiful black sand and we got to see howler monkeys while we were enjoying a day on the beach. "

"We just returned from 8 nights at Villa Allamanda from June 4 - June 12, 2025. The house is as beautiful in person as the gorgeous pictures online. The view is spectacular, and we got up at sunrise every morning to watch for wildlife and listen to the birds and howler monkeys. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and made us feel like we had our own private resort. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed so we could cook breakfast each morning and the occasional lunch or dinner. Playa Ocotal was the closest beach at only a 5 minute drive down the hill and very easy to get to from the house. The sand is mostly black with some tan mixed in, and the water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. We snorkeled most days by the rocks on both sides of the beach and saw a huge variety of colorful fish, so bring your gear if you like to snorkel. There are foldable lawn chairs (not reclining), a cooler and a few sand toys at the house. There are 2 blue foam pool floats that you can lay on in the pool but no noodles or inflatable tubes, so you might consider bringing some or buying them nearby in Coco. There are plenty of every type of towel. Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and a hair dryer. Showers are hot with great water pressure. A few of the beds are very firm. The road to the house is very steep, curvy, & narrow, so small 4WD SUV is best to rent. Lissa with Zindis was wonderful and so helpful. Ready to return! Pura Vida! "

"The title says it all. We spent a week in March at this property with 4 adults and 2 kids and it was completely amazing. Not only did it have a breathtaking view of the ocean and of the incredible sunsets each night, the house was comfortable, cool, and quiet. Bonus points for having air conditioning units in each bedroom. We spent hours in the clean refreshing pool before and after activities. The property is about 10 minutes from the beach and amazing restaurants and a short drive to hiking, animal sanctuaries, and all the various adventuring of Costa Rica. I will also never forget wandering outside to see howler monkeys in the trees next to the driveway. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. Costa Rica is a magical place and this rental is a perfect place to experience it. "
